I reckon she's a psycho who believes she is smarter than everyone else and would poison them to punish them and would be laughing inside as they ate the meals.

I'd say her best hope is to approach the DPP, with an offer to plead guilty to manslaughter. Claim that she wanted to make everyone sick, and not kill them. But got the dosage wrong

couldn't hurt however pretty slim chance they go for that given the international publicity this case has attracted, i suspect they will be looking to make an example of her.

Agree with you there.
Would be in her interests to try and cut a deal. But given the publicity around the saga and the strength of the prosecution case. They'd feel confident of getting a successful murder conviction.

Now I suppose I could do some research of my own, but why re-invent the wheel I say.

For the sake of my sanity, I've been paying for Youtube premium. I hate the ads, but by having premium, the greater benefit is that the rest of the family don't continualy hassle me about the ads.

Google has whacked the price from $12 per month to $17 (come April next year).

I'm sure there are other means of supressing the ads. I'm keen to hear what works for people here, on PC, Andorid and IoS. Sharing is caring!

I haven’t looked for a while but I believe if you subscribe to YT premium with a Turkish account it’s about $3 a month.

intentionally putting death cap mushrooms in a meal are hardly the actions of someone who didn't want to kill anyone, at least not those of an educated person. i can accept old mate parents were collateral damage however it would pretty much appear she wanted old mate goneski.

If she was trying to kill people she wasn't very good at it.

Yeah though I'm not enough of a legal eagle to know how viable that is.

If you shoot someone and they die, saying afterwards you only wanted to wound them doesn't fly.

The relevant element is intention of committing the acts knowing they would cause death or serious injury, or knowing it was probable that death or serious injury would result.

The situation in Daylesford is terrible.
Apparently the car was going at great speed downhill, on the steep side-street before it crashed into them. Horrible situation

The Royal beer garden is very exposed to traffic on all sides. Patrons would've had no chance to get out of the way.

It sounds pretty bad. I used to go to Daylesford a bit back in the day, my brother lived near there for a while.

It's a place all of us in the Central Highlands/Goldfields region know well. Certainly one of the most attractive towns in the state, especially in autumn.
Place has probably changed a fair bit since he left, can't get much under a mil these days.

Local reports generally seem to say there's more than 3 deaths, potentially as high as 10. Had to use 4 choppers to ferry the most seriously wounded to Melbourne and Ballarat Base was appearantly on brown alert.
Find out more over the next few days, just a horrible situation.

Been very little mention of it on any of the news reports, probably too early to say. The Age said that the driver was uninjured and was being interviewed by the Police.
