I still wear them outdoors in crowds, for COVID and various other shit that can cook my lungs. You can say what you want about it mate, but I'm not going to hang it on the immunocompromised.

We could just move Australia Day five days earlier to commemorate the day Eddie Mabo died waiting for the high court to decide land rights for indigenous folks was something worth recognising.

Maybe if people like Dan understood the implications of that decision these protest wouldn't be happening.

I went around saying smash the state for years and anyone who understands the mabo decision and doesn't question the legitimacy of of the Federal government of Australia and the Constitution ... well they either don't understand it or they have **** all real pride in their nation.

Altho having a country and constitution based on something as non existent as Terra Nullius is possibly the most Australian thing as any other thing ever...

and yet you won't find posters/banners honouring him...which is what those protesters should be doing instead of inciting vitriolic hatred for Australia. You could argue the government has done more honouring that man's legacy than indigenous people have. Abbott was the first PM to visit his final resting place and the Royal Mint made a 50c coin (legal tender) in his memory.

and ironically...the coin itself is of extreme low mintage (in other words it's rare). I had one about a year ago and sold it to a coin collector.

I’m also on tenterhooks. Put in an offer for my first home today. Agent said he’d get back to me tomorrow. The owner needs to sell quickly and I don’t think they have had any other serious offers, but I can only go about 10% less than their advertised price guide, so it’s still very much
