It already does. I spent one weekend every month here when I was a kid. Most important thing is the kids love it so far. They start school tomorrow (holidays always last longer down here than the mainland for some reason, even in the 70s.)

The house needs alot of TLC. Will probably take a few years to get it perfect.

I might have to knock down and rebuild brick chimneys.

My cousins pulled up some old carpet and lino before we got here and the newspaper underneath was dated Nov 1924!!!

Yeah possibly. Its in the bin now anyway.

The chimney seems to be leaning away from the house and pulling itself off the wall while pulling the wall away. I'll check it in the next few days and then carefully dismantle it. (Unless its straight and level in which case I'll have to start again with a new plan.)
