I’ve had my kids carry out exposure therapy on me for months in the off chance we managed to get tickets. I know all the songs and now it’s gonna go to waste

Yep restricted view

I got ‘restricted view’ seats, couldn’t see her when she went into her stage but when she came out you could see her. They had TVs and honestly they were great seats for $65 a pop.

I feel bad for the ppl that paid $800+ who couldn’t see

Can’t beat $65. Just got home after picking up the fam and they absolutely loved it. Their restricted seats were pretty bloody good, could see most stuff fine and they got to see Taylor come out in the cart before the show and see her leave and get a wave!

I don’t listen to her music at all and my daughters are a bit too young, 11& 12 so they never got caught up in her music, but massive respect to her for reclaiming her music by re- recording it when the record label she signed with tried to screw her.

TS is completely not my taste in music however that post is a complete load of rubbish, in fact you could argue if she is getting so many paid punters through the gates whilst having a narrower demographic as her fan base as even more an achievement. i get that there are clicks in critiquing her shows/fanbase/ etc... but cmon,

Bruce Dickenson posted an opinion recently and as a maiden fan its probably true but his focus was on longevity of pop music more than the artist involved. basically stated he is doubtful TS will be selling out stadiums in 50 years time still. still takes nothing away from what she is doing new.

Being a South Aussie born-and-bred person but now raising Melbourne born-and-bred children is a bloody challenge.

My kids keep using weird terminology like "early mark" instead of "early minute". Or "grey lead" instead of "lead pencil". Or "potato cake" instead of "potato fritter". And you guys pronounce the word "graph" as "graff" which is just... wrong.

I'm going to start having my daughters recite the following empirically correct sentence before bed each night, I reckon;

Children, use your lead pencils to draw on your graph paper, and then you can have an early minute to go to the fish and chip shop and get yourself a potato fritter before you go home and have a parmi for dinner.
