Spare a thought for those of us who lived through the 19 percent years....It’s really ******* sad how much that monthly meeting impacts our age demographic.

Tobin Brothers have a long history with North Melbourne, one of the brothers was the club President.Because I don't mind a tangent ... interesting, or maybe ironic, even an Alanis Morrisette version of ironic, that Peter Tobin, the serial killer mentioned above, shares a name with Tobin Brothers funerals .... might be coincidence, or perhaps just drumming up some business![]()
So the term Shinboners could come from them not digging graves long enough for some blokes and their shins’d poke out one end?Tobin Brothers have a long history with North Melbourne, one of the brothers was the club President.

Huge congrats mate.Just bought my first house.
Never expected eye-watering levels of debt to feel this good, tbh.
Congratulations, you have just completed level 1I just caught a mouse that has been eluding all our traps - saw it climb into a tupperware container. Ran over and got the lid on, with the mouse half in and half out in a desperate jump for freedom.
The rest is history.
It’s my greatest achievement in life to date

Some shocking news out of Adelaide today. I'm quite "upset".
That "wonderful" man, Tredders, he of the bow to the crowd at Football Park in 2007, when port thrashed us in the Preliminary Final, lost his case against Channel Nine for wrongful dismissal.
In his role as a newsman, he apparently made some inappropriate comments about Covid-19, and along with his apparent less than fluent reading of his part of the news (he stumbled over a lot of words), lead to Channel nine giving him the a***. How dare they?
Anyway, Judge Geoffrey Kennett (how unlucky in life can you be to share that name with someone else?) ruled today that the dismissal was not unfair and awarded costs against him. Tredders was hoping for a payout upwards of $7.7 million and instead he's the one doing the paying.
Yes indeed, I'm very "upset".
Unsure which thread to ask this in, but are the fires in Victoria still going?
Last 3 mornings the air was thick with the smell of fire, whether out of control or back burning
