Beyond the immediate loss of life, that's going to cause a logistics/transportation nightmare in that area for years to come.
theres another video with earlier footage EDIT SoS just posted above... , theres deffo something wrong with that ship, the power goes out on it then plumes of smoke can be seen bellowing before impact. sadly a lot of the traffic stops on the bridge as the ships approaching that likely could have gotten across before the impact that inevitably led to the collapse.Deliberate?

i would say that firm is in a world of trouble.Ship tracking data from LSEG shows a Singapore-flagged container ship, the Dali, at the location along the Key Bridge where the accident occurred. The registered owner of the ship is Grace Ocean Pte Ltd and the manager is Synergy Marine Group, LSEG data show.
Lucky it was the middle of the night and not when there was heaps of traffic.
I can think of one thing worse...There is nothing worse than trying to right turn onto mt Alexander road at peak time

I just finished watching Trainwreck, the doco series about Woodstock 99 - the one that degenerated into riots and general depravity.
