But the only push against the continuing genocide is coming from rank and file dems and socialists.

Yes but I believe what Scallop Industry Thug is implying (and I concur) is that when you approach it from this kind of perspective, you are pushing a narrative that both "sides" are the same on the issue of the Palestinian genocide.

The Republicans are the majority in the House of Representatives (Congress)
It's Congress that controls weapons sales and funding support to Israel.
Hell, just earlier this year Biden paused arms sales to Israel and the House of Reps passed a bill to over-ride him.
Yes, Biden and the Democrats are much, much "closer" and support Israel more than I'd like. I'm not denying that.
But again, this notion that both sides are "the same" and that Biden/Harris are equally as bad as Republicans/Trump are on this issue is nonsense.

And I’ve said that the administration should be held to account for their crimes, along with the republicans congress who are even more keen to supply weapons.
The only large groups I’ve seen opposed to the genocide are some congressional dems, grass roots dems and socialists and members of the Arab and Jewish communities. No republicans. None. Hell Johnson and co overrode bidens pause of arms sales.

I think a lot of your misconceptions come from a fundamental lack of understanding about how the American government works.
For example, that letter is not an instance of "only 3 members of congress" opposing something.
That was not a vote.
That was not a resolution.
It's an independently generated and proactive letter sent by the three signatories of the letter (all Democrats, by the way).

Their only disagreements with Biden is they aren’t going hard enough in Gaza.
