1) The club emailed affected members and told us that all Marvel Home teams were losing the same seats due to an AFL decision around the Marvel Stadium redevelopment (Ess/Car/WB/StK).
2) Because North were the first of the Marvel clubs to get their membership packages out, this seemed potentially newsworthy, so I reached out to a journo I'd worked with on a few things previously to give him the heads up. It was not a "tantrum about losing my seat".
3) The journo discovered that no other Marvel Stadium clubs were actually reallocating the seats, and that this was a specific NMFC decision. It was at this point the journo's involvement ended because it was no longer a newsworthy issue of a sweeping AFL change impacting multiple clubs.
4) Affected members then sought clarification from the club who admitted (somewhat sheepishly) that their original explanation for the rationale of the change was somewhat less than accurate, and that actually they were turning the impacted bays into corporate seating.

There was never a "tantrum" involved and if the club had just said upfront that they were reallocating the seating (and not the AFL) I never would have contacted the journo.

My assertion was that the Twin Towers/WTC 7 were not brought down by a demolition, but by the planes.
9/11 Truthers regularly posit that there were pre-planted demolition charges in the buildings (especially WTC 7) that "proves" it was an inside job/conspiracy/etc. I'm saying I disagree. What's your position?
