Speaking of Deadwood. Have you heard of the show Justified? Also starring Timothy Olyphant as virtually a modern day version of the same character (except it's set in Kentucky and there's no mining and state/federal tensions etc.. amusingly there's a similar quantity of white trash though).

We watched a couple of episodes and redubbed it "Law & Order Kentucky".

Still watching it despite the disappoint..
