Well see that's the thing, I wouldn't have a problem with you if you were doing it on msn or pm or some other site. But I'm just not really cool - and this is something that I've only recently become uncool with, so no doubt I have a history of it - taking a post made on one part of bigfooty, and then mocking it on another part of bigfooty. It just seems, well like trolling, really.

Why didn't you share your amusement with the fatty that broke your chair? I bet you were polite as any decent person would be and let it go. Yet you shared it with us.

Well there didn't seem much point really. As you say, it's hardly polite, just let it go. But I don't see how that argument helps here. You could have just let that post go, you could have been polite and let it through to the keeper.

On a bus. iirc the most recent time I talked about was when we were discussing a fat tax and I was making a (very small) example about how obesity affects other people/business. You know, she broke some infrastructure due to her weight that the taxpayer has to fund fixing. Anyway it plays out as you expect, fat person gets on the bus, sat down next to me (usually I didn't seat down, but I was going in late that day), bus started back up, seat collapsed.

Actually, in light of what I just said, it's worth noting she got on the phone! hope she didn't pin the blame on me!
