I've always considered people writing 'sauce' when it should be 'source' to be some sort of BF joke. Indeed, I've even played along several times.
However, so many people now do it that I now find myself genuinely wondering whether some just don't realise which spelling is correct.

Ha ha, the ol' double whammy. The incorrect use or their, there, they're and the like shit me the most.
I corrected a mate on this via text. His reply; "Shut up, your an idiot." I just smiled![]()
Ha ha, the ol' double whammy.
People have been getting there/their/they're wrong for as long as I can remember, though. Same with you're/your (I would include yore and yaw as well...but nah).
However, source/sauce seems to be a much more recent phenomenon, and one I haven't really seen outside BF.
Personally, 'could of', 'should of', 'would of', 'had of' and so on shit me more than any of the regular howlers you see people make.
Acquired a new mining company, amirite?Needed a break.
Got a job too.
I'll be back.![]()
You know the, let's call it a sign, between "q" and "s"? Well the one on my laptop stopped functioning about 30 minutes ago. So I'm basically attempting to find synonyms without that sign in it. It's funny at the same time being decidedly annoying.
You could just go all Elmer Fudd for some words.
Nah, it's making me expand the idioms I use
PossibleExcept some of the words you are going to be using don't actually mean the word you're using them as replacements for.
