e.g. search for all posts between March 2013 and April 2013, as opposed to the standard "search by relevance/date" function?

I had a look through advanced search and couldn't see anything.

Just use the "newer than" function in the advanced search, sort by date, skip to the last page of results and work backwards.

Actually, yes this does work. It's laborious but if you're patient enough...

Search only brings up 10 pages of results, though, so I can only go back as early as September 2014.

I praised one poster on their wall a while back as being a good poster, before I was a mod. Turns out that they've since evolved into one of the more notorious drugs trolls on the site.
