I waiver depending on the questions. I'm a bit of an introvert by nature, but out of lack of interest more than anything else. I don't get stressed or anxious, and through work I've become entirely comfortable with public speaking and improvisation, so questions in those areas nudges me towards an extrovert result.

Sadly, because it's so hard to sack people and their are many laws on dismissal, you would be negligent if you didn't try to find out exactly who you're hiring beforehand.

Heh, I'm acutely aware of how difficult it is to dismiss people. It is nothing short of mind-boggling as to what does not constitute a fit reason for dismissal.

I'm all for doing something and "taking them to the pub" is an exaggeration, I've just seen enough people defy profiling to be completely disinterested by it. Beyond that I find it repulsive as a management tool, but of course there needs to be some sort of rigour in place.

My pet hate at the minute is the contortion of roles to fit people. Twisting structures to appease rather than what functionally makes sense.

I think that's a fair argument and solid reasoning. I guess our own personal experience changes how we view things but I can't disagree with anything that you say here.

During the telecast they went to some bird reporting on the sideline and she that Dempsey was seen arguing with Bluey and being demonstrative waving his hands about or something like that (paraphrasing)

Not sure where his head is at, arguing with umpires, arguing with assistant coach, being roped into arguing with some pleb on twitter. So embarrassing.

That wasn't 'some bird', that was Sarah Jones. Grandfather is a bloke you might have heard of called Jack Jones?
