Meh, that's just what seems to happen, it's become the social norm. It would frustrate me, but so does most things on Facebook, so I choose not to have one. I would feel impelled to tell too many people what I thought of them, and that's just not productive use of my time.
What I do know is some very nice and sensible people can do a very good job of convincing others that they are the exact opposite on Facebook.

Pretty much. If you post what you think or say, "nah, they're just a fatty" you get abused. It's too much work for a person like me that just doesnt care enough.

I think it's just people bringing across real life behaviour onto the internet. and given it's facebook and it's got their real life names attached to it, it's understandable i guess. I don't usually partake in widespread stuff like that on here because i mean i'm just one loser and who cares if i repeat something being repeated by 100's of other people, and I usually don't read stuff that is only gonna be 100's of people saying 'oh how sad. rip.' and sutff like that i mean dudes who cares we get the point people respond to horrible events with sadness, but i don't think it's a wank. it's just people not understanding the internet isn't a cafe. i mean a dude dies in real life of course you'll say how sad it is to yr friend standing across from you, but on the internet? plenty of other people are saying it and you're not even saying it to anyone in particular. but again facebook does blur the line between real life and the internet i guess.

Curb's peak (around the season 3-4 range) is better than AD.
But AD is genuinely unique in it's serialised and (literally) incestuous format, and in a genre as tired as the sitcom, that's arguably more notable.

I prefer AD. I also think the structure's better because Curb is semi-improvised.
I've never watched "the Wire", "AD", "Curb", "Always Sunny", and pretty much all popular shows except Homeland and Breaking Bad.
