The day I clocked professional mode on RE4 was one of the greatest of my life.

I actually became a bit obsessed for a while- started setting myself ever more crazy challenges, like 'living off the land only'- in other words, no buying of weapons/first aid or upgrading weapons. None at all. On pro.

What was the reason for going the 360 over the PS3? I have both and was planning on grabbing it on PS3 tonight (if it is available)...

I upgraded my phone to iOS7 this morning.

I already regret it. It looks like crap and is terrible on the eyes. Wish I'd done my research before blindly pushing the update button.

Is there a downside to leaving it the way it is? I'm due for a new phone next week though, so guessing the 5s will leave me no choice on the matter.

I'm not sure, perhaps some apps don't work as well.

I'm sure I'll get used to it, the font of the text and the lighting seem to be the main differences.

If you're getting a 5S next week, then it probably doesn't matter. Just on that, I didn't know they were coming out next week? What are the main differences from the 5 meant to be?

I'm entirely the wrong person to ask. I'm the least tech savvy person going around.

All i know is that my current 4s is getting those 2 year issues that remind me it's about time for a new one. Battery life is getting worse, phone randomly freezes and other such issues.

That, along with the calls from optus tell me something new is in order. I think they are released this tomorrow, but with the rush they usually attract, I'll probably have to wait til i can get my hands on one.

Yeah I do like the idea of using a different phone.

I wasn't exaggerating though when I say I am terrible with anything techno. Too locked in to apple to change now..........just figuring out how to transfer contacts and music would do my head in. Having a macbook where I plug it straight in and my new phone becomes my old one is about all I can handle.

I don't know about the S3, my sister has one and wasn't impressed but apparently the S4 is really good. I love the HTC though and I am glad I made the tough decision to move away from the iPhone!

Having said that, if Apple make some sort of revolutionary changes to the iPhone down the track compared to the recent conservative changes they have been implementing, I may go back to an iPhone. To me, the HTC offered enough difference and features for me to make the switch.

So with the interest in football all but over for this year, and cricket season not yet here, how do you guys entertain yourselves in Melbourne with this weather you are famed for?

All I can think of is trying out new bars and drinking way too much beer and scotch. Getting a bit too expensive though.
