The prize money for the Fed Ex Cup (Golf) is insane. Prize money per tournament is $8.2m (USD)

The first tournament consists of 125 playing for a share of the $8.2 m. Second tournament has 90, third tournament 70 and the final tournament 30 golfers each playing for a share of $8.2 million.

The Fed Ex Cup winner also gets a $10mil (USD) bonus into his retirement fund

Probably relates to the number of accidents he has caused.
