Wifey saw a parking inspector assaulted at lunch time.
She had to go to a meeting so I'll have to wait until tonight to get the details but yeah.I can't stand parking inspectors, but that's not cool at all.

Why? They have a job to do and only give people a ticket if they are either negligent of the rules, or being selfish.
Probably in the minority, but if people are frustrated with a lack of parking, they should appreciate people overstaying their welcome being fined.
I guess there are assholes in every job. What probably sparked my intense dislike is one time getting to my car about one minute late as the inspector was starting to do the ticket and yep, he kept going. Maybe he was an arseh*le for not giving me any grace in this instance but it's formed my opinion.
My issue is they should be there to catch those who blatantly don't give a crap about the parking restrictions. People who park in loading zones, fit people who park in disabled spots, people who well over due (I'd say 5+ minutes over). Every parking ticket I have had (4 in total I think) has been within a few minutes of time expiring. If everywhere you need to go is perfect you'd be back with plenty of time to spare but queues are longer, foot traffic is worse, waiting for assistance in shops, doctors/physios etc running late and so on.
I guess there are assholes in every job.
I'm sure there are some that deserve the crap they get, but for the thankless nature of a job like that, the majority probably are doing a great job of it.
Occasionally I shoot some bball outside of the school.Hey, in the playground did you spend most of your days?
Or am I way off line with that one?

When a couple of guys that were up to no good...
I haven't driven in yonks (while not a standard unit of measurement, it would equate to approximately 2 months. Unofficially), I have been taking public transport almost exclusively. I have to say that I honestly don't mind it.
Take a quick tour through this townhouse and let me know if anything strikes you as a bit wtf.

You should have turned backPretty sure I saw Carlisle earlier today working on a building site on my way to Hawthorn station. Had driven past before I could yell, "traitor!"
You one of those posh people who need walls to have a shit? Oh la-de-dah.
