Do you turn your wrists inwards to point your hands at your body? Silverback style?
My kids freak the **** out when I jump up on the couch and sniff their hair then pretend to eat the lice out of it.

Silverback style is the only way for a father to do a gorilla.

absolutely!

my wife's taught them to throw poo though, so they sit on the couch and pretend to throw poo at me when i walk past.

i think she's won the monkey game.

Did anyone watch the Princess Di documentary things last night? I wasn't intending to but ended up watching it. If you did watch it, did you notice that the bit where channel 7 cut to an ad had music from the Game of Thrones soundtrack playing in the background? Some of it is really nice music, so fair play. But I'm particularly curious about the use of the 'Rains of Castamere' theme at one point. Deliberate choice or just some random producer who liked a piece of music and didn't know why it was created or what the meaning behind it was? If it was deliberate, it's pretty rotten I think.

I didn't watch it. I feel like every new documentary on Diana trumpets 'startling new revelations' and the lack of noise afterwards suggests nothing of the sort is ever actually true, but that's an aside to your point so I'll shut up. ;)

Yeah I wasn't intending to, precisely because of the way they advertise it and I think this sort of 'documentary about someone's life' stuff essentially defames people and basically just makes money off their legacy for all the wrong people. Perhaps she wanted those videos released, perhaps she didn't, but yeah. I was sitting in the same room as other people watching it, and the sound track startled me. That theme song is supposed to invoke memories of whole families being massacred!

Have just found out a very good friend of mine has lost her husband at age 43 to cancer today. Just a reminder to all you guys and gals out there to get yourself checked regularly, whether it be skin, prostate, breast, whatever. 43 is way too young in anyone's world. I can't imagine losing my partner.

Be good to yourselves and those you love.

I saw Damian Peverill at the game yesterday. He was seated near me up on level 3.
I asked him 'don't you get better seats than this?'
'Nah,' he said. 'I wish!'
I really liked Pev's hard working honesty back in the day. I was surprised he was just there in the not so good seats. Albeit members.

I reckon if your name is on a locker at the club, the club should be shoving you in at level 2.

Somehow oddly appropriate for Pevs though. He was as no frills yet hardworking as they come.

Quite similar to Howlett I reckon.

But yeah you'd think they'd get something like that. It's not as if he only played a few games either; managed just shy of 150.

It's not the first time I've run into Pev. I saw him some years ago in Kensington and we chatted in the coffee shop. He really seems like a nice guy. And I really enjoyed his playing. I was saddened by his seats given his loyal service. No superstar but gave it his all.

Agreed and seconded.

166 players have played my than 100 games by my calculations. Would amount to about $100k a year in high mark home memberships for those players alone before adding kids or spouses. I would say at the very least it should be offered as a free upgrade or something from the basic reserved seat memberships.

Not all of those 166 are still with us.

You've tasted arse?
I have tasted pig arse.

Or more accurately, pig colon that was cooked in a concoction of spices at a Chinese restaurant about a decade ago.

All the spices in the world couldn't mask the fact that we were ultimately eating, well, pig arse.

It was god-awful.
