Question for Mods.

Whatever happened to that awesome design the Count put together to frame the Melbourne board? It looked so excellent and it seems to have been forgotten about???
I'm not even sure what's going on there. Fairly sure I provided the image for it ... can do again tho.

Incidentally, I've already started working on an update

If the count is of a mind to change the design in future, it's time to get tough and just pull Chief and Bigfooty along with the bandwagon. And while MFC is doing a bit better these days - I would love to see some stuff he designed in our official club gear. Great graphics - TheCount MFC would be lucky to have you.

Haha, I would also like that.

I was actually thinking about hitting the club up to try and get some high resolution images to work with, makes it whole lot easier, and renders a far better result.

The update is a long way off, I work on it around other projects, and they take ages to do. Working on Jack Viney atm and recording my screen as I go to turn it into a video afterwards, so should be pretty cool when done.

WARNING

Should probably mention that I have quit smoking - for the zillionth time and FOR GOOD.

So far me and my nicotine replacement therapy are toddling along nicely, but I'm bound to turn mean any old moment now. So If I shout at you or burst into tears or something there is an underlying reason that should be considered for mitigation purposes.

I actually feel like a cigarette right now, so instead I am going onto the Trades board to troll Hawks supporters. So I guess I'll see you once the inevitable suspension is lifted.

Good for you, PG. Giving up smoking is one of the hardest things you'll ever have to do. Have a dollar.

giving up smoking is easy.... I did it heaps of times.

seriously though, I gave up a few years back after smoking for 27 years about 30-40 per day. You have to want to give up not just think you should give up. My tip would be - Whenever you feel that you are weakening give yourself ten minutes.. the craving usually passes after ten minutes.

Good luck with it PG.

Hey Striker475 you went to Adelaide oval this year correct? Thinking of going there next year, is the long trip worth it?
Yup. AO is awesome. If you are going, buzz the club - they get an allocation of tickets for interstate members and traveling supporters. SA members get priority but there are plenty of seats. They aren't cheap - $57 - but it means that you don't have to mix with the natives too much while you're in there.

Hope t goes well.

I quit after smoking for 3 years because someone told me I couldn't. (I hate losing). Started again a year later and smoked for another two and quit again for good.

YOU CAN DO IT!

I figured this was either deemed "Jabber" or "Non MFC"

Posters I waited to post this, gather my thoughts. Last week at my work, we had a fuction to raise money for the MND Battle that Neale Daniher is having.
Had the pleasure to serve the man, hes a lot taller than I thought he was!
I was frothin!
Among the MFC Alumni included Nathan Brown, Neita, Clint Bizzell, Leoncheli, Lovett, Powell, Robbo, Ben Holland, Riggers, Ward, The Daniher family and Simon Madden. Shane Watson was also there, didn't notice him though. (no clue what Shane Watson was doing there)

Rigoni looks no differerent. Browny was the only guy there not in suit, just Jeans a T shirt. Good bloke. They were all there sinking a ton of Piss, Neita stayed till 3AM, with who i think was Hopgood and Lovett (some of these 90's guy i didn't watch i don't really remember haha)
Most the Melbourne guys that were there were 90's guys.

No Joe Daniher or Heppell. Virtually no current Footballers.. Was certainly a good experience, my boss is also a Melbourne supporter so we both enjoyed it
I did notice Ben Holland is a Weird Unit. No Relation at all. Bizz and Neita loved to Converse

10 days, 7 hours, 37 minutes.

I've apparently not smoked 309 cigarettes in that time and saved $383 - though some of that has gone on my replacement obsession of Lego dimensions. I've also chewed the end off 5 pens, but I'm weaning myself off the pens gradually with some success.
