Got my first open home selling my house this morning. I've literally spent just about every waking hour that I've been home the last week plugging away to get it ready, and have destroyed my back in the process. It better sell quickly and for plenty!

I figured this was either deemed "Jabber" or "Non MFC"

Posters I waited to post this, gather my thoughts. Last week at my work, we had a fuction to raise money for the MND Battle that Neale Daniher is having.
Had the pleasure to serve the man, hes a lot taller than I thought he was!
I was frothin!
Among the MFC Alumni included Nathan Brown, Neita, Clint Bizzell, Leoncheli, Lovett, Powell, Robbo, Ben Holland, Riggers, Ward, The Daniher family and Simon Madden. Shane Watson was also there, didn't notice him though. (no clue what Shane Watson was doing there)

Rigoni looks no differerent. Browny was the only guy there not in suit, just Jeans a T shirt. Good bloke. They were all there sinking a ton of Piss, Neita stayed till 3AM, with who i think was Hopgood and Lovett (some of these 90's guy i didn't watch i don't really remember haha)
Most the Melbourne guys that were there were 90's guys.

No Joe Daniher or Heppell. Virtually no current Footballers.. Was certainly a good experience, my boss is also a Melbourne supporter so we both enjoyed it
I did notice Ben Holland is a Weird Unit. No Relation at all. Bizz and Neita loved to Converse
Sounds awesome, those dudes are my era as a kid. I would have annoyed the shit out of them talking their ears off.

10 days, 7 hours, 37 minutes.

I've apparently not smoked 309 cigarettes in that time and saved $383 - though some of that has gone on my replacement obsession of Lego dimensions. I've also chewed the end off 5 pens, but I'm weaning myself off the pens gradually with some success.
Awesome work Gander, I reckon you're going to kick its arse!

This was me earlier in the year, was a roller coaster of emotions going through that process. Figuring out a price you are willing to take is a lot of mental work. Here's my renovation, wish I'd taken before pics.

Good story. To be fair to current players, they'd all be on holidays right now.

Managed to come back from Phillip Island sunburnt despite the thermometer barely getting into double figures. Was fun though.

Twas, the Dirty Birds are legit. Also they need to change to that new alternate permanently, sexy as ****.
And just like every other team I support, they prove to only be pretending to be legit.
The alternate does look awesome though.

Yeah we sold earlier this year too.
Rushing home from work to vacuum, wipe down, put on the Mrs 'decorative don't sleep in me' bed linen for the Wednesday night inspections to have 1 blokes come in and check it out was fairly grim.
Deciding on a reserve is near impossible. Auctioneer will drive you down and price will most likely go well over!
Good experience, hope you do well.

We're currently in negotiations with someone who had a private inspection yesterday, while there is another person looking through as I type. We've got it listed as "Offers Over", and old mate came in about $15k under the Over mark which I thought was a bit ambitious at the time, yet is now talking about still being interested, but not sure if he can go as high as our Offers Over point.

No doubt some gamesmanship going on, but I can't understand someone who would go to the effort of booking a private inspection of a place with a pretty clear price expectation only to balk at it. If you can't afford it, don't waste everyone's time, it's been on the market for 5 days, we're hardly desperate at this point.

Yeah we had a few early offers and of course people will leave a bit up their sleeve so there is plenty of gamesmanship.
We had enough interest that it was more feasible to let it go to auction and play out from there.
We were lucky to have 4 very keen bidders on the day who pushed the price up miles past what we expected and would have accepted so in the end we were pumped we didn't accept an offer.
In saying that, when the auctioneer says "3rd and final call" on a vendor bid because nobody has stuck a mitt up yet, that's fairly f***** tense.

Auction that mofo if you get some interest. Gamble on dueling bidders I say!

For today's indiscriminate jabber I bring some culture in the form of Albrect Durer's painting of a young hare. It's amazing what a spot of education can do. What's interesting to note about the painting is that even in fifteen-o-something your regular hare had very long ears. I occasionally have come across hares. They a pretty much like a massive, muscular rabbit.
