Bloody hell Yakker, you keep catching those monsters and you will miss every game, looking good.
During footy season I am torn between watching the game and throwing in a line when the weather is good. I tend to go out at 5am and be back home by noon, clean up, feed, quick nanna nap and crack a coldie and watch the footy.

..... here's a little tale of our Bruce Springsteen experience last Thursday night in Brissy.

The missus and I decided belatedly to go so our seating options were limited. We were to be seated directly behind the stage looking at the backs of Bruce and the E street band. So I took to twitter and tweeted "Hey Bruce, don't forget the people in the crappy seats love u as much as everyone else, give us a holler tomorra Luke and Jen"

Halfway through his second song he turns around and points up behind the stage, the house lights light up the back where we were sitting and he says "This ones for you Luke and Jen" Obviously his PR people had passed on the message!!!

Well we jumped up and down and generally just lost our shit. He looked right at us and he knew it was us because we were the only ones up there jumping up and down waving madly, and he gave us a big smile and wave.

Very memorable experience and really got the adrenaline going for the rest of the performance.

I missed watching the Dee's V Dogs game :'(:'(

Was too busy filleting fish.... If anyone is heading to Central QLD I can definitely recommend Damo from Hooked on 1770 charters!!! View attachment 338183 View attachment 338184 View attachment 338185 View attachment 338182
So what kind of fish are in the first three pics, Yakker? The third one looks like a coral trout yeah? The second is some long thin thing like a steroid abusing garfish without the pointy beak and the first I just dunno.

The first is a cod - It was 21 kg. They grow quickly and are prolific in the reefs
The second is a cobia - Fight really hard and taste much better than steriod abusing garfish :p
The 3rd is one of our favourites to eat. It's a Nannygai (Pronounced nanny guy). beautiful eating fish

I don't follow American sport closely - can you give a rough AFL analogy re the trade?
Would be like trading Trengove, Wagner, Toumpas when he was a rookie, a first and a second round draft pick to the Suns for Tom Lynch and steak knives.

Studying in the country ******* sucks! to state it briefly. I want to pursue a career in IT, i did the cert 3 and 4. But no, they won't run the diploma. So now i need to find something to enroll in before the government comes crashing down on me. And the only other damn courses around here are fixing a car or sticking your hand up a cows backside! So now i'm stressed out beyond belief, because i gotta find something but nothing appeals to me. Reality is i'm gonna get stuck in some course i won't enjoy, i won't be motivated to do and it'll be a year down the drain!

But then you get the solid advice from career advises, friends and family of "just pursue you passion". Wow! amazing if i only i had thought of that! Well that's a capital idea except i don't have a ******* clue what i'm passionate about! How can you follow your passion if you don't know what it is?

Sorry to dump everything here, but it's eating away at me. Go back about your business, sorry.

Hey mate, don't worry about all that crap about following your passion. At least not yet. I assume you are only in your early twenties, yeah? The majority of people in this world have no idea what they want to do, (work wise) with their lives at your age. You might be slogging away at some course not really enjoying it, but just doing it to keep busy and stay off the streets, and you will be hit by an epiphany, and you know what; it just might be that what you really want to do is stick your hand up a cow's behind!

Hang in there, it will all fall into place.

Why don't you do your IT course by correspondence, or is that not possible?
