That headline is misleading. I’m pretty certain it’s not mandatory at this stage.

We have a fight on our hands though, there will be a crisis (e.g. foot and mouth or something) that they will look to make this mandatory. The regulatory system is beyond corrupt. Our TGA regulator is 96% funded by big pharma, making it the most corrupt regulator in the world. I would suggest the people who approved this would be funded similarly to the TGA.
