I don't even know what extremists look like, but there will always be idiots on this planet, in all different forms and guises; left/right, black/white, male/female, theist/atheist straight/gay Carlton supporters/Essendon supporters etc etc and to pretend different is truly disingenuous.
I was a regular on the SRP board and I must say - Some of the best people there were the ones I disagreed with. Why? Because they laid a case forward from a sincere point of view. I don't give a fu** to be back slapped for my point of view, but do enjoy being engaged in sincere discussion and it's people that usually have least to say are the ones that will apply tags to you; Racist, Misogynist, Homophobe etc etc. This is my finding.

We can see the general state of play even on this tiny sample on our board -
Post a sign/banner without saying anything and you get 'likes' Want to engage in discussion?.....No thanks. :) You can figure it out.

Just on this current situation - Maybe I'll relate some interesting situations that have come about from someone close to me and maybe I won't, but it's a real eye-opener, when you come to realise why some people are doing what they're doing and how and why these situations have actually come about.

Anyway, for a little further insight, have a look at this short video and without prejudice as it is Ben Shapiro interviewing and some people just don't like Ben Shapiro, so therefore he's wrong before he's even said anything, regardless of ho he has on his show.

Its a good thing you are such an advocate of people expressing themselves any way they want, otherwise you would not like it here.

Okay for a change of topic and pace (which has gotten a bit too serious/political) who is your favourite Movie On Screen Couple?

Has to be Doc Brown and Clara Clayton for me (just aboce Han Solo And Princess Leia)

The Back to the Future TrIlogy has always been dear to my heart, but Part 3 is my favourite, mainlu because of the amazing chremistry and spark between the cooky Dox Brown who vowed to never fall in love and the beautiful, enchanting and intellectually strong teacher in Miss Clayton.

I can top that. I had a dream recently where I was at a game between Carlton and GWS and the light towers collapsed while the game was on. Explain that one.

I know I'm late to the party here but I have one that isn't really footy related but related to Bigfooty itself.

In my dream I was on a bus with a bunch of people and every now and the the bus would stop at a location, we'd get off, take a look around, hop back on and go to another location. Sounds like a tour of sorts but I can guarantee you the places we were visiting were hardly the type of places you would associate with one.

At one point I got into a conversation with the driver, a tall, wirey blonde bloke around my age and the topic turned to footy.
As it turned out the driver also was a Carlton supporter and our conversation centred around the Blues for the rest of the trip.

The trip ends eventually and we shake hands and he asks my name. I tell him and he makes the observation that it's not a very common name asking me whether the name gab213 meant anything to me. Seeing the look of surprise on my face he starts to smirk and I ask him who he is on the Carlton Board. He laughs and says .."I'm Th........ And then I woke up.

I managed 7 years without letting this place into my dreams.......not sure how I'd classify this one but it might have had the makings of a nightmare

Alexander Aurrichio played for the NBs (2015-16). He sadly died in a cycling-car accident.

I tried doing a search for a more appropriate thread but I couldn't find one.

55" is about as small as it gets for 4K to get the benefit of the resolution at standard seating distances, and if you're coming from 50" FHD, you'll run into issues as broadcasts start to centre around 4K presentation, such as the wider shots that have been used for AFL broadcasts in recent years.

If you're 2-3m from the TV, I'd say 65" is where you'd want to start, and the time to buy in the TV cycle is October-January if you can hold out. The 55" will get down to $2600 right now if you know where to look, but they'll drop to $1800 and below in that sales period.

When you're buying the C series, you're getting better and earlier firmware support, better binned (sorted) panels, and superior image processing. In this year's iterations, you're going to see appreciable differences for dark scenes and HDR.
Looking forward to watching the footy on the new LG 4K
