And Whitey pre-finger injury.Imagine if he had the Marsh Bro's, Behrendorff and Richardson?
Yeah but that was like 2 years ago.And Whitey pre-finger injury.
Had all of those players except Shaun and we found ourselves at 1 win 5 lossesImagine if he had the Marsh Bro's, Behrendorff and Richardson?
Jesus.Mitch Marsh has gastro and Turner is replacing him.
Scorchers are even more ****** now.
I'm getting that vibe too. I can feel it in my Waters. You get the feeling Langer isn't going to last long as coach
True. That said i reckon we'd be in a much better position now if Mitch played every game.Had all of those players except Shaun and we found ourselves at 1 win 5 losses
Nah the bloke’s brain is all scrambled egg. Needs a holidayTrue. That said i reckon we'd be in a much better position now if Mitch played every game.
I never felt that Langers coaching record justified his hype. Never won the shield, most of his coaching success came from the Scorchers but I think thats more the recruitment of quality bowlers over the years than the coaching. You get the feeling Langer isn't going to last long as coach
Exactly this. I am not impressed but given the "unfortunate sandpaper incident" and the loss of a couple of our best batsmen as a result, and the dearth of talent throughout the country due to this obsession with T20 at the expense of red ball cricket, Langer isn't the issue. He needs to be given time.WA had a long record of underachieving and being a bit of a basket case culture-wise, he undoubtedly made them a better team.
Most of the criticisms of him thus far revolve around "too many WA players because he plays favourites" and are nonsense. Online anyway. I haven't been impressed yet, but I'm prepared to give him another summer. Change takes time.
I also think sacking him would be ignoring the much bigger issues with Australian cricket that he has no responsibility for or control over. Does he, Greg Chappell?
Yeah, him and Stanlake have been released to play BBL on Sunday. MMarsh and Zampa retained, presumably because the former is sick, and the latter is 12th man for the ODI team. They better release him
That’s ok, I’m more of a...On current form the Wildcats finals streak is in danger
