Hoo boy how did Portsmouth not finish it in the last seconds there HoneyBadger35 ? Dropped right for him, any good contact on that and it's through.
It's the joy of League One. They're all tidy players capable of the most unfathomable goal, and also the cruelest miss. Same bloke just did his defender and chipped the keeper from 20 yards minutes earlier, yet fresh airs the winner from five yards out.

Penalties fair enough result for the game, but Portsmouth would be furious if they drop this. Weird soft spot for Sunderland after that Sunderland Til I Die doco, but just want a terrific roar when the winner goes in.

Yeah watching that was stressful enough, will actually explode if Leeds don't go up auto and find themselves in a shootout in the playoff final.
Playoff finals are stressful af. I watched the Hammers beat Blackpool 2-1 in 2012. And it's crazy the difference in fortunes because the money and exposure that comes with promotion to the prem is ridiculous. We've been a middling team in the prem since then while Blackpool crashed all the way to League 2 a few years ago.

Anyway as long as Milwall gets relegated out of the championship I'll be happy.

That's the reigning family club of the year Millwall, currently under investigation for racist chants and the slashing of an Everton fan outside an FA Cup tie. Blackpool finally had some good news, got their shocking owners out a few weeks ago and had a big win to celebrate.

The ridiculous gap in fortune between the Prem and Championship is insane. Easily the richest prize in world sport, the playoff final. Crazy shit, how soccer is nowadays.

Would we take him back in some capacity in 2020?
After Woosh has to watch another 20 weeks of this rubbish we can just put him on the porch of the new club facilities. A nice rocking chair, blanket on his lap.

Watching the Checkatrade Trophy final, Portsmouth equalise in the 80th. Absolute limbs across Wembley.

Lower league soccer is so so so so so much more pure from a fan point of view. Not plastic, sterile, global brands, just people who would die for their local club going ballistic. Love it.
It's funny seeing how much the Skates care about winning this after years of laughing at Saints for celebrating hard when we won it.
I lived in the UK when Southampton got relegated and as a match-going fan the Championship was may more enjoyable than the PL.

Predicted order for AFL360

1) Bullshit umpiring in Dogs vs Hawks
2) Melbourne flogged
3) Essendon humiliated
4) A lot of time hyping up the Melb vs Essendon game as an "elimination final"
5) Tigers slobberknocking
6) A bit of loldockers
----------------
5325) Is GWS in trouble
----------------
9999) Oh, WCE won a game good for them

Looking forward to AFL360 tonight to hear all about our performance and how well we played. Recipe for disappointment?

7) Cox should get off, apologised to and be made AA full forward and Australian of the Year.

360 was still worth watching, if only for the first 2 minutes, because the heroes of the week were 1. Sam Collins - ex-Docker - for his intercept mark to seal the win against his former club, and 2. Lachie Neale - ex-Docker - for his elite play in getting the Lions win #2. So that was good for some LOLs.
And as always, Gerard gave us due respect afterwards On The Couch.
