Pretty sure I saw an L plater hit a parked car in Galleria shopping centre this morning. I didn't technically see the contact but I heard something that very much sounded like it, and there were a few scratches etc. on the car which I had a look at after the L Plater and their instructor just drove off.
I took a photo of the offending vehicle and left the rego plus the mobile number of the driving lesson company (was on the car) under the wiper of the damaged car. Still feel a bit weird about it, I'm 90% sure there was contact but if there was the slight chance there wasn't I've potentially started a shitstorm.
