I liken it to watching a 5 day Ross Lyon slog that ends up in a draw
Even when there’s only the possibility of only one team winning on the final day it’s still one of the best things to watch. The match the other day finished at 2am and I guarantee there were plenty of Aussies up that late supporting it like a footy game. Labuschagnes wicket would’ve woken a few family members up for sure.

I’m convinced that everyone who ever liked cricket only do so because their parents told them to and are now stuck in an uncomfortable position where they have to pretend to enjoy watching a bunch of people standing in a field for days on end with no guaranteed winner.

In HT day that was called the Vietnam war.

Serbia just got knocked out of the World Cup which is sort of huge. Increases the chance the US just wins anyway, but also kinda increases the chance of an Australia win.

Nobody has an answer for Jokic, so once they got past the US the final was a formality, but this US team is super wobbly so their finals appearance doesn’t guarantee a win.
