Man Officially Cured of HIV

For the first time ever, a man has been cured of HIV. The remedy may nearly have killed him, but it opens a door—just a crack—to hope that we may someday kill off the scourge for good.

Strangely enough, the diagnosis that most concerned Timothy Ray Brown in 2007 was acute myeloid leukemia. HIV has been increasingly thought of as a manageable disease, though certainly a terribly burdensome one. What brought the 42-year old Brown under the care of Germany's Charite Universitatsmedizin Berlin hospital was the more immediate threat his cancer posed.

Totally got a part of VCE results today. Quite happy with results of the two 3+4 subjects I did this year.

Anyone know if the results on the website are scaled or not?

From what I gather they are raw scores (ie: Yet to be adjusted).

Going off previous years my Accounting will go from 40 to 41 and Further will come down by about half a point to 46.5.

Really happy because all I'll need to get the ATAR I need now is 30-35 in my other 4 subjects.

Couldn't find myself in the newspaper though so that was a bit of a dampener.

U2 ended up being awesome. Great pre-gig food/drink, great company, best seats in the house and a great gig. Had some flat spots I agree but they have always mixed up the tempo
The point of JayZ is totally lost on me. What was the point of him having a band esp token white guy that all did sweet FA? The wrong type of music (he seems so angry) and pointless in my opinion.
On reflection I think Metallica win the contest for me just by sheer energy level. But having seen U2 Metallica and ACDC all so close together I am one happy chappy.
I almost feel young again
