It wasn't just one thread bud.
And they've been deleted to hell.
Someone compared Solly to a murderer... so I made the obvious comeback to a Geelong fan in that situation... then said something about getting rid of Ling's ugly genes from the pool.
It's been a busy 24hrs for Rip and Sabre - more infractions from then in the last 24 hours than the last month I reckon.
And lots of deleted posts and threads - they did a pretty good job IMO - all things considered

I think the losses have started piling up on Ripster... Cracking under pressure. Also a general increase in weagles trolling.. .That may have to do with us actually being lower but being pretty pathetic yourself can't be helping the case

Means that maybe they need someone else to help - but a lot of stuff was posted late last night and precious few posts were reported.
One thing I have found as a mod is that threads can go pear shaped very quickly sometimes and if you aren't actually online at the time they can be buggers to sort out - partly because posters respond to blatant abuse rather than report it and it just keeps going downhill.
Currently being fed on a smorgasbord of hospital wires.
Always reckoned he was a gun, but always reminds me of a rat for some reason...

I think that ripper deleted one of my posts on that thread about joel selwood.
I said that the whole thing was a misunderstanding, and that joel was actually signaling to Jeff that he looked dehydrated, and a nice water from the trainers would do him the world of good, and rehydrate him for the rest of the game. Joel was clearly looking after Jeff's health and well being

No sarcasm was intended, but I do see why you may have thought it was, so apologies.
Reports are emailed to the mods for that board and as far as I know they go to admin as well - and a thread is started in the mod section. So nothing will happen until the mods logon.
Supermods and admin can do anything on any board, but regular pleb mods like me can't do much other than my own board. I can card people anywhere, but it is a courtesy amongst us that generally we don't card anyone outside our own board.
That's why it is generally better to report a post than respond to it so as not to make it worse. That said I do understand the desire to tell a blatant troll that he is not welcome and fly the flag so to speak - it just doesn't make our job easier.
It also means than you run the risk of overstepping the mark in your response and getting your own card - becomes a bit like a melee in some ways if that makes sense.
