Back in my early graphic design days, the answer was yes. While studying typography it was required that you could distinguish fonts.

Now, everything is either serif, san serif or script to me.

Note on the curved letters (c, s etc) the end of the line in horizontal in helvetica. Arial has it angled about 30 degrees left or right depending on the letter.

I cheated in that I typed the ARIEL letter where I thought there was a difference and got 19 from 20 TOYOTA threw me. Got the Y measured wrong.

I was walking down to the shop this morning to get some milk and was nearly hit by a boat as I crossed the street. Someone has to stop this - are there any candidates will to help stop this clear and present threat to my safety?
