Read the below article, it's the sort of far left wing lunacy that exists in media land. How a moron like this self made reporter gets to ask the PM a question is part of the problem.

“Far left wing”? It’s from the Daily Mail which has always been a conservative paper in the UK.

Hardly hard left, just shit journalism. Unchecked "facts" make you look like dumb campaigner. That's like saying Alan Jones is a hard right lunatic. He's a lunatic but he's not hard right, he is just a fu** wit.

You do realise that the Daily Mail is a shit rag like a Herald Sun type thing?

Shit, that's just what you need, I hope you've got someone to do your rounds. That makes a shit start to Christmas, any estimate on how long until it clears up? As others said it's meant to be the most painful thing you can suffer with and in some ****ed up universe you can't even drink the pain away. I hope you get back to normal soon Mowie.

Ask jonnyray, he reckons climate change is far left lunacy.

For your other questions maybe ask tjis bloke. He has the opportunity to address it not me.

No cause being persue, just posting current affairs.

Pretty bad viewing I agree.

It could be worse, you could have Boris Johnson and his Brexit loonies....

It was just the shittiest Australian paper I could compare to. The Sun and Daily Mail in the UK are like nothing we have here. Maybe the closest are those Darwin ones with salacious stories about incestuous cousins, crocodiles and bikini photos on the cover.

Add The Star and The Express. All are right wing rags which push prejudice, read by idiots. They don't report the news at all. I never look at them.

Your compatriot Rupert Murdoch is responsible for much of this gutter nonsense over here.

This is a good article on the outrage culture that seems to proliferate social media these days. It kind of reminds you to keep some perspective no matter which side of the divide you sit on.

Wife diagnosed with it Saturday had to cancel a family get together fun times, just hoping she doesn’t have any eye problems.

Hope you’re on the improve, it’s a lousy painful disease shingles, I’ve seen several family members and friends with it over the years. Some were mild cases and recovered quickly others were in a lot of pain for a prolonged period.

You can be vaccinated and I regret never bothering now.

Trump, Morrison and Johnson think what you like they all won.

I was pissed about the result here but you know what they say about you getting the government you deserve. The Labour Party here really screwed it up here as did Corbyn in my view. Hillary Clinton absolutely destroyed her chances with a breathtaking sense of entitlement and arrogance.

I’m actually pretty disappointed in the losers to be honest.

You nailed it, Yawkey way. Labor lost the unloseable here. Boris is the lesser of two evils. Kilary was unelectable from the moment she revealed her true character and contempt for the average citizens. The word Deplorables" has never had greater power. Changed the USA and by extension, the world.

There is a disconnect between those that identify as being traditionally left wing and those that provide commentary on the left and the left wing of the Labor Party. No longer is the working class seen as being who the party represents but are now the problem the party has to "fix".

Mind you the Liberal Part has the same problem in a different way. I can't think of a right wing politician who is an example of the old world Conservative. Intellectually sharp, believes in family values, personal responsibility, supports small business, anti corruption and not just a belief in the rule of law but as much concerned with ethics and morals.

Both party's have lost their identity, campaigning more and more on minority issues and negativity.

I'd be happier going to a direct democracy model in the long term, but in the short term, a national ICAC, all funding of political parties needs to come out of the public purse, as much as I dislike it for as long as political funding comes from private entities we will be plagued with our politicians owing loyalty to the providers of cold hard cash.

That One Nation actively sort foreign funding killed them stone dead for me, where IPA pumps money into the Liberal party and conservative commentary but where their funding comes from is hidden, hey it may well be above board but I don't like it.

Is there something to be learnt from the ancient Athenian version of choosing a leader in a time of crisis who doesn't want the job? Chance being that they recognise the problem will find an answer that favours no one and when it is all sorted they just want to get out of there.

The nature of politics may well encourage corruption but our systems at the moment seem to guarantee it, there maybe some politicians that aren't completely self serving but I wouldn't vouch for any of them and nor do I think we should give them the benefit of the doubt.

Crocodiles in bikinis? How does that work?

Labor voters are:

- inner city progressive knowledge workers
- outer suburban blue collar union members

Not much in common between those groups.

Someone just sent me this picture.
Whats your point? Basic research says this is a test they are doing in WA to try and make extra long distance viable for EVs and that if you crunch the math its still more efficent for L/100K then a straight Diesel engine.

Can we stop with the nonsense that we somehow have to dispose of all our existing infrastructure tomorrow and everything must be electric? Its called a transition for a reason.

Well in truth I was interested in what posters may know nothing more.

I’m not sure what math you’re crunching though, quite a lot would have gone into the provision of the charging station but given I’m a bit stretched at present if you have a link post it.

Anyone know any good bars.
I was going to go one today but theyre closed!

You could try chapel street. Jungle Boy is pretty funny, you go in through a fridge in a shop and get smashed on cocktails. It might actually be a little bit unmanly now I suggest it. Lucky Coq is really good value down there. Cheap craft beers and super cheap pizzas.

In a country with more sun than anything else and in an area where that sun shines so hot and mercilessly, surely they could charge a Tesla battery pack with some solar to recharge cars. I think it's more funny because of that irony myself.

I'm a labor voter and fit neither as a regional professional.

It appears that highlighted demographic is starting to turn away from Labor.
