Possibly but I've seen Karens that weren't Anglo-Saxon looking. It's a bit of an attitude thing. You don't need white skin to be a bossy pain in the arse but it probably excludes African Americans.

Well and some Latino, Jewish, Eastern Europeans, Southern Europeans etc. It's a derogatory term for a pain in he arse loud mouth female w***er who raises a fuss over **** all. It's not really a racial stereo type unless you act like a ****head and consider that it's an uncontrollable urge that only white people have.

My wife is a total Karen. She yells at people for littering and shit. She's crazy. Some meth head will shiv her one day.

An assertive, white woman is labelled a ‘Karen’ in order to demean her.

Meme use put it in society, but what was it, a decade ago that it was a thing?

There was a movie with a white woman named Karen acting entitled, at the same time Reddit had a stub where people were hating on a Karen, and at the same time in America a group of people changed a name to describe another group from one name to Karen and it seemed to gel with the previous representations of a "Karen".

People in society then went "gee, that's a nice descriptor" and co-opted it for; "this woman is entitled, privileged, acting crazy and etc" meme usage instead of focusing on a hair cut trend or other descriptor.

And it feels as though we're having the beginning of the "Abo" and "Wogs" discussions again.

Bloody labels, ruining everything with sticky residue that you can't get rid of.

Actually look at suburb borders in inner Melbourne. How are you going to actually enforce this? Logistically.

It is nightmare fuel. No one is going to specifically be looking out for "Dale & Jodie" if they go say 2 blocks into the next postcode to buy coffee, or run on a track unless literally, you are policing everyone who is outside at any moment and invading personal space to request identification and purpose in say military lockdown.

Makes more sense to look at your ID, and impose the bullshit test.

On the money.
The word that we must not use, comes from Niger. Which simply means "Black".
Its because of the historical use as a derogatory term, it has a negative connotation.
Making new ones doesn't help.

I'm pretty bored in lockdown, so I thought I would check out some past years in round 8 and I came up with R8, 1989. StKilda lead at every change and ended up beating North by 3 points. Lockett kicked 9.0 (now that is straight kicking) that day but Stewart Loewe also had a big day out. Loewe had 23 disposals, 14 marks ( l bet most were contested), 1 goal and 12 hitouts
Amazing to think we had 2 power forwards capable of that kind of domination.
Peter Russo and Micky Dwyer (his hairstyle always intrigued me) were our leading possession winners and both also kicked one goal each. Our oldest player on the day was Geoff Cunningham 30y/o and our youngest was Gordon Fode 17y/o. IIRC Fode had legs like tree trunks. Jayson Daniels had 6 handballs and thankfully only one kick for the day. I think I was there that day but can't be 100% sure due to a hazy alcohol fog.

If she had a medical exemption why couldn't she just show it at the start instead of all the grandstanding.
My son's partner works at Bunnings and she told me that some people refused entry because they did not want to wear a mask are going back to their cars and driving in the trade entrance, getting out of their cars and then trying to walk around the store without a mask. Beggars belief really!
