Fascinating. The article didn’t go into it but I’d love to know why some individuals are super spreaders. My best guess is their immune response inadvertently creates a more infectious strain (as a one off).

I still think social media is much more of an issue. You can literally have two polar opposite views supported to believe that your side is right and good while the others are terrible people. Trump supporters believe he is messianic because they get fed a stream of anti left and pro Trump propaganda. The left leaning types get the articles of corruption and greed from the republicans, the right get fed articles of Biden corruption and links to communism. There is no common ground any more, just camps.

Russia is trolling civil unrest in the US as well. They have troll stations set up in Africa now owned by Russia. They stoke anger in the BLM movement ( which is legitimate) but try to leverage it to cause social friction. I was reading on facebook last night a pro Trump article and read comments, at least 70% were made from people in Ghana. A few of the posters caught on but most just bit. They were winding them up like you wouldn't believe.
