We are military allies and that is unlikely to change.
Trump wanted to increase trade barriers with many countries, and we had to plead our case to keep ours open.
No doubt there will be hickups with the new admin as well. I'm not sure if we should worry about whether its Biden or Trump, or whether its that our man on the ground is Joe Hockey.

I liked when he got us to stand up to China and we got our barley exports slashed....only for our friend and ally to offer to fill the short fall. He was shit for us.

This says Mexicans are rapists when only taken out of context. Trump's comments have been taken out of context quite a lot.

Trump has spoken a lot about unauthorized immigrants crossing the Mexican border as being hardened criminals and rapists. Not people that are crossing the border legally.

I actually can't believe the complete denial here. How many times do people need to say something before you believe them? You do see how ridiculous your argument sounds, right?

Trump is very good at saying what will serve him best in the moment. Sometimes that is denouncing white suprrmacy other times it is subtley embracing it to pander to his voter base. Yep it has been an absolute s..t of a year, (3 people including my mother I am close to have passed away within the last 6 months, along with that fn virus).

Made me realise what is important, I use this place as an outlet and has taught me a lot including listening to others and the impact of my words.

It is a great place to come to, and I love the hope of being a Saints supporter.

Next couple of years we should be more than competitive.

Luckily there have been plenty of equally unstable periods. Unfortunately the one that ended in the late 1940s really started at the end of the 19th century with nationalism building in Europe while some of the old empires were starting to get the wobbles. If we say this one started at the end of last century, we only have another 30 years or so to get through.

That is rough mate. Pales in comparison to some of the rubbish we chat about on here. You are right does put things into perspective, have also lost people close to me and makes you realise what is important you are right. Need to make concerted efforts to remember this while people we still have in our lives are around. Life is too short.

I tell you what, the Saints made one of the worst years on record a lot more tolerable for me. That sounds like a nightmare year on top of what was already a shit one for you though, I don't know if even footy would get you through that.

I'm trying not to be as biased but by my posting I'm obviously completely undisciplined. Social media is making people see a gulf instead of the common, we have to all remember we are friends at the end of the day. George is a gun with his tireless admin work and even though he's a bit Trumpy, I'd still buy him a beer, and Ceanag is a good celt with a name like that and deserves a couple just for that alone. Dard Ball is a campaigner though, only joking, he's a good natured guy. He deserves a beer too or maybe even a whisky for being a funny campaigner.
