Pizza is all about a very hot oven and leaving the dough to prove long enough....don't over work it too. Quality yeast is more important than the flour too.

Indeed! This is a bit sad, but I went around Italy with a list of best pizza places to go to. My son is obsessed with finding like the super authentic Naples style pizza, there are some killer ones. We know a few family friends in restaurants too so think I'm a bit of an expert by osmosis. It's the Aussie way. Let me tell you about Souvlaki next.
Indeed!
Your like Dennis hopper out of True Romance and VDS66 is Christopher Walken
Don't know if you have seen it. But there is a truly memorable scene where
Dennis informs Walken on where Sicilians were sporned from! lol
tarantino co-wrote it, but tony scott directed it. I prefer true romance to any film tarantino has directed, patricia arquette is the only woman in the whole film but she steals the showThat's a great monologue...unless you are Sicilian that is. True romance was an underrated movie. Tarantino at his best.

The scene where he gets the pimp

I have a theory that the best Pizza's in the world come from Lygon street. As opposed to the most traditional ones.
I know for sure the ones in the USA are garbage.
Rome pizzas are the worst. Like a Savoy cracker. Too thin.I'm not sure about that. I had to go and get expensive mini wood fired knob pizza tonight after talking about it. They are good. Lygon pizza is old school Aussie. Surprisingly hard to get good pizza in Rome. They like white pizzas with a breadier base.
I'm related to the Fazios who trained in Sicily as pizza makers.
If I want to know about betting on horses, pissing my pay against the wall, getting drunk and belting ny best mate then spewing all over the missus, I'll be sure to ask an Aussie.
And in your case if i ever want to know about getting punched up by girls, I'll call you.
Cheers.
The owner of my Local pizza place is a bit deaf.Rome pizzas are the worst. Like a Savoy cracker. Too thin.
Each region does it differently.
Sicilian pizzas are quite good if you can find them. Fazios used to do them really well when they started up. Not so much these days.
Pizza Napoli in Russell St did OK ones many years ago.
California Pizza House chain does decent ones in the USA.
There is also the place in NY Italy district that was the first ever pizza restaurant. Can't recall the name but bloody good.

Tuscany is the place.
The farm house variety is sensational, with local Chianti’s & warm olives magnificent.
