If they'd kept their mouths shut about franking credits and negative gearing I reckon they'd have won.
Some policy was a bit loopy, but they tried to communicate vision and something more robust than just yelling tax, tax, tax.

Was kinda hilarious, start of it everyone was expecting Labor to win handsomely, then as the night progresses you have the "left" melting a bit, the "right" going from cautious "it gonna be bad" to " it gunna be gud" and everyone loses their marbles a bit.

Does it though? I don't think most of Queensland or WA is benefitting from taxing rich people less and middle class to lower class people more while also putting even more restriction on unionising...

Very disappointed to see Australia re-elect the lowest common denominator, as I hoped you were better than that. The establishment everywhere continue to use their muscle in order to convince the majority they share the same interests, when, in truth, we absolutely do not. 400k hardly gets you to the bush and then how do you recharge to get home ? and how long does it take to recharge? anyway i have said i will never own one, the junker would hardly go form Melbourne to Phillip Island and back, let alone tour anywhere, Tesla cant even make enough cars to be viable.

As a now proud Queenslander, I have to agree with that when it comes to politics, sadly. The stale Labor state government would have been a factor in this as well. Queensland seems to prefer having one party at state level and the other at federal.
Having said the Victoria let everyone down big time as well.
