Has anybody had any problems with the bump below your knee where the tendon joins the tibia.
My right one is swollen and I feel like I’ve been belted with a baseball bat, the bloody thing is murder to walk on.
Possibly patella tendonitis which is an inflammation of the tendon at the front of the patella connecting to the shin considering your "bump" is "swollen", but obviously not a doctor so...
If so, got some advice for it considering the various quacks I saw in diagnosing the RA and work arounds / changes. As with most things it's resting as far as strenuous activity goes, ie weight training because this stresses the muscle and worsens the inflammation where it can "snap", and then it's mostly stretching exercises to allow the tendon to "rest" and regain flexibility and thus the swelling will then generally subside over time and diligence as you are also slowly building strength of the overall knee and thus the tendon.
If it ends up too much and you kinda need the leg to function then and there, general anti-inflams contain painkillers and are your friend in moderation. From experience though, steer clear of the ones that taste like arse unless you enjoy that sort of thing.
