To me US politics is impossible to know the truth of. I see it a bit like religion, people who tell you they know all the answers are probably bullshitting you. What looks likely is that you have to be a scumbag to get anywhere near the top jobs. They have the occasional Bernie type who is full of morals and dignity but they dangle them for a bit then throw them away and bring in another viper to throw in the pit. Politics all over the world has become a corporate stooge. Not many governments act for the people and democracy is largely a ruse to keep us believing that it's our own fault that we get the turds at the top.

The ones that get marked down, anyone inside or outside politics that are taking cheap shots or hypocritically call for one thing one week and the opposite the next, anyone that has pushed market based solutions for years then takes potshots when they don't work, (private security), no credibility what so ever. Disagree with that about the commission flats. They know from overseas that public housing is a real issue. If they let it go heaps would have spread around. You can be pro black lives matter and pro lock in. If anything, the idea that you shouldn't infringe peoples rights to stop the spread of the disease is more like those MAGA nutters in the US.

Supposedly they are changing her cell often to make it harder for assassins. This is one of those times where I think she'd be better off out of jail and instead held off site in a secure location where only a handful of people know where it is.

Because it's subjective.

What you deem as acceptable and right is not the same, as what someone else deems as acceptable and right. In that situation, neither of you are actually right as both of you have fault in opinion to some minor degree since people become sexually active and able to do things at vastly different times to each other.

The differences of the person is only highlighted when it is "beneficial" or "concerning" to societal norms which are made up of the person.

Disregard notions of "you are an adult when 18/21" type notions. Ask instead what is it to be deemed an "adult"? Your answers will likely hinge on things to do with maturity, rationality, ability to discern need and want as two separate manifestations and the like. It will have nothing to do with a number, until well down the list of what you consider an "adult" "you need to be this age to view breasts at an establishment. You need to be this age to vote in an election.".

You don't. For instance, you saw breasts when you were breastfed. You made voting decisions when "electing" friends groups, who made decisions in those groups, the only difference is "subjective" importance deemed by society.

The information, if expunged will be pointless. Look at what happened with Julian and his merry band regardless of the "extra" comms, just on the information obtained by the people involved. How hard was it attempted to be discredited?

Society is built on lies, and death, if you have information or the desire to try and shake up the "leads" of that society, you die. Be it literally, as an identity, as a person, socially, as you are discredited and pulled apart to your very core so that the status quo is maintained and society lives as it has lived, on the corpses of those that came before and failed just as we have failed.

And that's why we don't care who gets brought down. Because it'll be more of the same in the end.

I however wouldn't give her a pardon, she was part of the problem, too many people as it is on this planet, so we just disagree in that in a perfect world I'd just go "yoink" get the info, then dispose of the body.

As if we are serious. If we wish to view children as children, requiring safety and requiring people to make the best decisions for them; she is a snake, you kill snakes regardless of if they are just sitting there knowing that all the other snakes have killed.

Actually look at suburb borders in inner Melbourne. How are you going to actually enforce this? Logistically.

It is nightmare fuel. No one is going to specifically be looking out for "Dale & Jodie" if they go say 2 blocks into the next postcode to buy coffee, or run on a track unless literally, you are policing everyone who is outside at any moment and invading personal space to request identification and purpose in say military lockdown.
