Yeah, generally politics has descended into the sewer, both sides aren't great. Federal coalition are as bad as it gets right now. Morrison and his inner circle aren't the real issue it's a lot of those fringe nationals who are just grubs. Labor has had some dodgy campaigners especially in NSW but the current federal government seems to have lost their moral compass and don't actually do much of any worth. Part of it is the media make it better to do nothing than try.

I'm not so tough on Andrews I reckon he stuffed up massively by using private security but seriously both sides outsource everything they can. Libs might pretend they would have done better but they would have been under pressure from people like me to open back up even when the lock down was the right thing to do. Andrews has probably made himself unelectable for ever but at least he cleaned up his mess after he shat the bed. The media make it worse than it is. It's still 90% in aged care and a few minor outbreaks in the community.

I hate the corrupt campaigners from both sides more than any incompetence. I can handle they make mistakes. Government ministers are usually dumb campaigners that make bad decisions due to stupidity. I can take that but the campaigners that profit from it like it's free for all are the worst.

Even that shit with Trump's tax return showed some of the others in US politics including Biden paid $3+ million in tax. What the **** career public servant gets that kind of money. That's why politics is now ****ed, they are owned by corporate interests.

Andrews has spent money on building infrastructure for the state that has been badly needed, and had to cover for the federal government because they did not do their role in border control and bio security, NSW enforced strict rules on planes landing in NSW and Victoria had far too little time to set up what was really needed. Either Vic or Sydney were going to get hit with the second wave because the feds just wiped their hands of all responsibility.

Scott Morrision's government has failed the people in a crisis again by just palming it off to the states, Man has proven himself to be a coward and not a leaders arseh*le.

I reckon that part of Andrews problem, he kept fronting up. If he was smart he would have hidden away otherwise the media stick shit on you. Labor are do gooders who feel like they are good so don't need to appeal to anyone. People just want someone to kick, should have let Brett Sutton take the heat.

This is without going the full nuclear option of doing something super radical like splitting California into 4,5,6 or 7 separate states.

The interesting one is about the Supreme Court - Trump thinks he will leave a conservative legacy by stacking the Supreme Court - but should the Democrats win there is nothing to stop them appointing as many progressive judges as they want and then bringing forward cases that then restrict what, when and how the Supreme court can function.
