Well that's very kind of you :) thanks mate.
You run a great page mate and the following you have after such a short amount of time is evidence enough of that :), keep it up it's always good to see passionate St.Kilda supporters out there.

If lying is corruption, politicians are all corrupt. Corruption like NSW is proper financial manipulation. It's like if you are a cop, you are given a lot of opportunity to make gains or fall into corrupt practices. Politicians can literally make themselves of family/friends millionaires over night. The rezoning that Bomber Thompson was involved with is an example. Someone rezoned what was farm land worth hundreds of thousands into residential blocks where each half acre block is worth as much of the farm and they have hundreds or thousands of them. same at Phillip Island or when they sold Fisherman's Bend to developers.

To me lying is f’ed and should be pulled up by the media, stealing sh*t or using public money to give to individuals is criminal and should be considered much worse due to their privileged position.

I don't think Andrews has covered up financial gain. It's more just covering arses with the media on a witch hunt. In the corruption stakes that's pretty low on the scale.
I’m unsure even politicians all lie at enquires like this. Already 3 people have been found out to have lied. It’s financial gain because if he did know and lied he would have to quit. There is a fair bit of gain by not quitting. Not saying he is lying but for a man who seems to be involved in everything it’s strange that he wasn’t involved in this.

All the rumours are that it was the police command that demanded private security guard the HQ. I don't know why they won't say anything about it. Perhaps it's trying to not turn the public against an already under pressure police force while they are expected to police the Covid restrictions.

Perhaps they were threatening to down tools if they wore the blame or something. Anyway, it doesn't really matter to me who made the decision any more. Like the way they had no-one to blame for the Ruby Princess, it's at the low end of corruption to me. Millionaire public servants who get wealthy while in politics looks horrible.

Honestly they should have put the money from the enquiry into contact tracing staff instead of appeasing a media who want to catch out politicians mistakes while ignoring real corruption. It's a big story of not much action and will end up with not many answers like the Ruby Princes or the enquiry into Berijiklian's boyfriend. Each one cost millions in lawyers and staff and rarely ever give many answers.

At the end of the day Andrews will have been the front man for health officials making calls. Anyone thinking that he's got a lot of autonomy in decisions don't know the system. The parts of his leadership that are good at party level is that he chooses a path and will prosecute his case for a particular direction.

In a situation like Covid19 he will have had little say over actual public health staff opinion. Even the Libs leader would have had to be crazy to go against advice, they don't risk their own skin in situations like this. So basically you are talking about a front man that did what he was told.

O'Brien ( had to look his name up) would not have opened early, he wouldn't have done much different because the guys that advise them are the same people.

My wife was a corporate lawyer, she has had lots of friends called up for enquiries, the lawyers get accused of lying all the time for saying they didn't get emails or calls but get caught out legitimately because they get timelines wrong in their head or purely forget. Most is tracked so you get caught out. If you get heaps of correspondence and on multiple things you get it wrong. I'm not sure if there is exactly a massive smoking gun rather than some people who have potentially lied or genuinely don't remember.

Yeah, people have different taste, keep up the good work, don't let people put you off. It's great to have people making Saints content.

Not once have a I said the libs would have opened up early. It’s not relevant as they aren’t in charge. Generally don’t remember? Seriously. It’s not like it’s important. Not.

Within reason. Have you seen the site that cooper gresh runs. That makes being a saints supporter embarrassing. Comes across as a neutral site but is anything than that. You either are biased or not.

I have looked at it to see what people were talking about but not followed it. Each to their own. No-one has to look at it and I don't think anyone not following the club would even care that it exists.

It’s embarrassing for the club. I don’t read it at all. I see the fun people make on him but worse still the club.

And yesterday while we were discussing it dumbass Victorians sent their child , who had tested positive , to school.
Just dragging it out that little bit longer.

Chicken pox theory.

Yet I'm the hermit for telling people to piss off.

Chicken pox theory sucks.

Every club has those. The opposition have a laugh but they know they have their own versions of it.

I don’t think you get it. The page is clearly supposed to be a unbiased news page but people are banned as soon as they make fun of the terrible saints bias. Either make it a saints page or a news page.

Why do we have a holiday today. Yes it’s mandated we have a certain amount a year but I’m not sure many would complain if we didn’t get this one. My sister works as a hairdresser and she is working today but the business will actually lose money today due to double time. After 8 weeks of no money and now 4 days in it’s either work and some lose money or shut and get no money for some who are only 4 days back. Another joke. And another unfunny joke.

Swings and roundabouts.

Im pulling a 13 hour day running a logistics team. We have t stay open until 8pm to manage WA. I'll pull in close to two weeks wages just for today alone :D

That’s fine for employees but there are some employers really struggling. They just get back to work and have 2 holidays in 10 days.

It looks like Victoria's model is starting to get some attention overseas. If you listen to the Aussie media it we are overly cautious and dictatorial, it smacks of the crap they pushed about no other country in the world moving towards renewable energy while literally nearly every other country was.

I’m sure I saw in the headline The word parts. Maybe I’m wrong as I refuse to read crap peddled on here because it’s clear bias right or left. Mainly left which is courageous considering how Victoria was stuffed up when labor and Dan the stupid man was in charge.

Politicians are just taking the piss now. You need to keep them in cages.

All under the watchful eye of the utterly corrupted low life Dutton. As for Border Force, what a w***er of a name change that was. Going by international terminals (pre covid), staff have really bought into the new regime. Heaps of them strutting around with guns while the drone types actually doing something are nearly extinct. We comes across as very third world TBH.

I'm not sure if you are serious or not. NSW is letting Hillsong have big meetings etc. It will blow up again interstate. Andrews was just the man sitting in office when it blew up. Even you admitted the government of the day doesn't really make public health decisions. They might not have updated pandemic planning or didn't fund it as well as they should have but that is how they all roll. They look at what they can pull money out of and funnel into other more pressing things.

In the US they are ****ed because they have a public health set up to deal with pandemics and their government put in a group of Trump mates who were unqualified instead and they got what they got.

The decisions the state government can make is to ignore the public health officials and don't lock down. Overseas where that happened it has had a pretty bad outcome. I understand frustration and anxiety it caused but wanting to scapegoat the whole thing on one man is pretty ignorant. All over the world parts of countries have blown up and they worked together. Here we pushed it all back on the states.

I find it weird that you back Morrison where his go to is to let the states deal with everything and lay low in a crises. Ardern was front foot and out keeping the country calm and focussed. Here we got petty politics and blame. I'd say you are fairly heavily biased in a very Herald Sun/ Channel 7 way.

I never said any such thing about the government of the day and health. Never had them in the same sentence apart from saying the government stuffed up our health. About 800 of our health. The problem with you about it blowing up again is they are just emotive words without any basis I choose to look at facts and Victoria have managed to do what no other state has whether they are run by labor or liberal. Completely irrelevant mentioning of Morrison or Ardern. I find it funny that labor supporters refuse to compare Victoria to other states because it hurts their agenda. As for being influenced by the herald sun or channel 7 well in have some news for you. I don’t read the herald sun and when I watch the news I also watch channel 10 and sometimes 7. I find it rude that people who think Andrews stuffed up are classed as basically not having their own brain to make up their own mind. It’s a pretty weak way to have a discussion. It’s actually poor.
