I can't help but be suspicious about how all the late voting/ballots are favouring Biden to such a huge extent ...something just doesn't seem right.

it makes perfect sense

look at the existing split. democrats prefer mail in ballots. republicans prefer to vote in person.

With the average democrat also staying at home due to covid and the average republican not believing in it, it does make sense that there would be a mail in swing

Are people here anti-Trump or are they pro Biden?

Would anyone here actually vote Biden for reasons other than removing Trump? If so why?

I wouldnt vote for "Biden" per se mate, but the Dems agenda for the environment and support for bridging the gap over corporate gouging of profits would have me voting them. The science is showing that corporations can claim more profits from alternate energy sources than from current fossil fuel methods if Governments bother going down that path and ignore the current scenarios.

Biden is a stronger leader and representative on the world stage, appears impartial and thoughtful and (from what I've seen) less prone to outbursts of emotion.

Full disclosure: I am a swing voter myself - I vote on policy not party.

This has been explained many times over a multitude of platforms - basically a much, much higher percentage of Dems voted early (due to Covid and other factors) than Republicans and these votes are in the main mostly being counted now. Hence commentators (and Trump) predicting that Trump would lead "significantly" at the close of election day but wouldnt be a true indication until postal votes are counted.

No, he's just the least worse option. Bernie would have been a much better choice. Opinions are divided like never before. Putting up a centrist dullard was living in the 90s. Tony Blair style rightwing light was a weird choice. They played it safe and are going to have a 4 year term of filibusters now.
Like Hillary, Biden is a made man and in the top slots of the corporation. It was his turn.

Would have voted for Bernie but would be a very reluctant Biden.

But Biden will be the same NeoLiberal crap that has been peddled since the 80s

Trump was like having a fox mind your chickens, Biden is like having a senile turkey in charge. You'll sleep better at night but he's not really going to do much of any worth.

I really have not much interest in US politics but have been extremely amused and entertained by the political theatrics and hyperbole surrounding Donald Trump and how he is perceived in America and on the world stage.
The Trump Show has been a combination of soap opera, comedy, drama, current affairs show and much much more.
I really can't see myself tuning in so often for the Boring Biden Show.

I'll miss him when he's gone :(

I agree mate, the memes have been outstanding

Calling Biden a communist might be the biggest joke in the whole tweet.

It's funny that since the fall of communism that the capitalists have moved into their territory. Remember the US sold freedom and loved to point out the commie surveillance state, political interference with rivals, freedom of the press, prosperity etc. No one needs to pretend any more. Communism was pretty much what they had now but with free health care and a shit job to go to to buy potatoes.

It a problem with their system, they can earn a fortune from speaking at events. He's worth $9 million as a public servant. He's not corrupt but their system is and the way politics is funded through corporate donations is shit. Trump is a proper kleptocrat who went straight to the source. Here we are doing it now too. Donors have board members move into safe seats out of the mining lobby and politicians walk straight into jobs with the corporate backers once they spend years acting in their interests.

If you told the Americans 50 years ago that Uni would cost 100k, health bills would be thousands and homes would be out of reach for people they would assume the Soivets won the cold war. Add in the Patriot act, bungling in the middle east and press and other business being owned by corporations too.

The US's golden age of capitalism in the 50s and 60s up to the 70s was on the back of very high tax rates and building of their interstate system

The New Deal put in to rebuild post Great Depression set up the prosperity that meant the vast majority of ordinary Americans had one of the worlds greatest living standards in the 50s 60s and 70s. Literally private enterprise crashed the system, government stepped in, rebuilt it then Reagan and Thatcher types stepped up to start sailing the ship backwards and it's getting to the same point again. This time we have Covid, climate change and globalisation all bubbling away too. It's no wonder people want to colonise space and get out. It's in the too ****ed to fix basket.

Reagan, Thatcher and Howard should go down as 3 of their countries biggest traitors, so much money and potential blown on their "economic management"

Post Coivd we all must find a way to go back to that prosperity.

Do see AOC being a candidate for the presidency in 8 to 16 years from now though.

I'd vote for her, she's feisty as **** and super switched on.

What do you think?

Do you think people should talk about things they are educated in, or not?

He has a basis to talk about race - he has knowledge about it, he has experienced it.

When he talks politics you should switch off - why we listen to a guy who didn't go to college on things like politics is laughable.

I’m no fanboi of LeBron but he is speaking about his experiences as a black kid, teenager & then man in America. He wasn’t always a mega wealthy athlete.

His comments of politics? What? For people to Vote? Gimme a break George.

Funny how you pot Lebron for not being college educated but I’m sure you’d rush to Trump’s defense if it was pointed out that his base is white men with no college education.

Lebron should tbh, guy is a hypocritical snake of of the highest order.

Guy has kissed the arse of the CCP and has shoes made by slave labor while also saying how woke he is.

Hope you’ve cleared your home and workplace of all chinese made goods Stan.

Not to mention the fact that Trump's college education is pure theatrics. He didn't attend classes, he didn't pass exams. He only got into them in the first place on daddy's coin.

According to Woodward's book on the first year of his adminstration, Rex Tillerson had to repeatedly explain to Trump how tariffs work. Trump thought he was actually taxing the Chinese.

I believe that Trump has a sharp mind. He is quick and is able to think on the fly. However he is deeply ignorant, he has never bothered to educate himself on the details because he's not a detail oriented guy.

You simply need to look at statements Trump has made on climate change, on economic theories, on history etc. He is deeply ignorant, not necessarily stupid, but definitely ignorant.

President of the USA

Taking the piss, he does say some wild sh*t and have already made my point clear on why I want Trump to win. For me it is more anti-Biden than pro-Trump, in this election anyway.

Point remains - LeBron James - uneducated on politics - should not make statements such as blacks being hunted by police.

Wow George, I’m actually stunned you have this view.

Blacks being hunted by police is politics but nothing to do with racism?

That’s some gold medal mental gymnastics you’ve pulled off there.

Uneducated on politics? How many people actually have a degree in political science? Are they the only people who can comment? What about someone who gets a degree in design? College educated... can they comment?
