There's exactly one reason Trump needs to lose this election:

- He polarises the US like no president before him.

That's bad for everyone around the world, because it means this damaging style of politics ends up everywhere. Biden is a muppet but at least he won't actively try to drive wedges between people in his country.


And before anyone says it - yes, the Twitter left are just as culpable as Trump. Their bullshit wokeness is just as bad at creating divisions. But I think if Biden wins the election without winning the Senate (as seems likely) then there's a limit to how much bad, divisive policy and rhetoric can come from the left.


The world needs to get back to a civil and boring politics, where we don't try to move too fast in any one direction. Rather than breaking everything that makes countries work by pulling people apart.

Says nothing actually. The tax cuts will be taken off anybody earning over 400k. The average American salary is under 60k. Wont affect 95% of workers. Only the top 5 %.

It is a sliding scale like ours, not all salary is taxed at the highest tax bracket.

the 1.8 trillion taking off the mega rich will be used for infrastructure which creates jobs.

AOC will never be more than a congresswoman because she is for the people not corporates. The Dem machine will keep her and all progressives down while boosting ordinary machine apparatchiks like Clinton and Biden.

And they wonder after four years of Trump 230k dead from a pandemic, a racially divided country and a crashed economy why they can barely scrape over the line in the Presidential election, if they do, not take the Senate, and consign a prospective Biden administration to a lame duck until at least the mid terms in 2 years.

Biden is around 9,000 votes behind in Georgia with apparently around 98%-99% of votes counted.
Could pinch it, I don't think that would be game over but then he would just need one of Nevada or Arizona if I'm not mistaken?

What I've noticed more then anything, is that the different media outlets seem to take a side more so then they actually ae inacuartely presenting the election. For instance, I;ve watched a lot of the ABC coverage and the Sky coverage whilst also switching between CNN and others. The issue I have is the way they seem to barrack. ABC Aus just seems to shit on Trump and his decisions and are baracking for a Biden win as oppose to just calling it how it is. Fox the opposite. Also on the one hand you can go to Sky and they'll go on about Trumps path to victory and CNN/ABC the opposite.

She's smart and knows political systems, she's too left for the current US system but I think he said in 10 to 15 years. The US need to be pulled back to the left a bit and she can argue her reasoning which is a rarity in politics these days. I think the worse the wealth discrepancy gets there the more people like her will start to appeal.

The right wing media do to her what the left did with Trump, the gotchas don't do anything but build her profile and she has a lot of appeal with the younger people coming up with limited mobility and security.

I’ve been reading CNN and Breitbart through this election cycle. They’re basically reporting on fundamentally different worlds.

She is an attractive, intelligent,female, black,right leaning republican married to a white English guy.

They've learnt absolutely nothing from 2004 or 2016. You can't run an election campaign that is purely negative and expect results, you have to give people something to vote FOR.
