The media like deals done quickly so they cheer lead for teams like Geelong who flippantly toss picks where ever they can. Of course Geelong are happy to throw away picks, they were always getting Dangerfield cheap so were able to off set every thing else in the draft on the back of that.

We held thing up so we didn't mortgage our future trying to get hold of a big scalp. I am actually pleased we have pissed off the media, It means we have been responsible with our trading.
