If the Wiz and Buckets hadn't of lost family members during the week (before the grand final) we would have won. But hard to blame the Crows for that.

I'm not fond of that horrid _ucking song though. I would vomit again but cannot risk another underpants warning from Fehring.

the saints had 1-2 decent players out but certainly not of the same calibre as absent crows like coleman medallist tony modra, brownlow leader at the 2/3rd stage of the year mark riccuito and others including quality goal sneak peter vardy. winmars passing certainly didnt help though

to the feral OP, i think you are getting the crows mixed up with our poor cousins down the road

I think a lot of people forget that the Crows lost the Coleman Medalist in Tony Modra the week before to a season ending knee injury and also had Mark Riccuito and Peter Vardy as well. To be honest had we had all those three players we would have won more convincingly. With that said I feel empathy for your club.

That year the flag was up for grabs for literally anyone in the 8 to win it. Unlike really the last few years.

keep your chins up, your club has respect, unlike a team like Fremantle which is really a basket case.

You guys have to earn one yourselves and earn one the hard way. It takes a very good team to do this, a team that can be able to handle the pressure, a team that has no fear and a team that has the hunger.

Its hard to get hunger, its so hard. And when you haven't been a very succesful club in your history, that makes it even harder.

The others in bold are still yet 2 prove themselves. Wulf also was ok and capuano was not a complete hack.. When did you start following the saints?

Peckett doesnt deserve to be there, Blake does a job for us every week and without him we couldnt free up Goddard or Fisher, he is integral to team structure. and Gwilt and Clarke, while not great havent had a full chance to fulfill potential.

When I was a kid milney, so '95 when i was about 6 years old

To Thread maker - If you're a saints supporter as you claim to be why call yourself "Modra93". Former Crows supporter or perhaps current Crows Troll?

Because I like Tony Modra, I think you'll find if you look at my posts I have never ventured to the crows board.

Blake? Peckett? Clarke? Gwilt?
Peckett doesnt deserve to be there, Blake does a job for us every week and without him we couldnt free up Goddard or Fisher, he is integral to team structure. and Gwilt and Clarke, while not great havent had a full chance to fulfill potential.

Peckett was terrible in his last few seasons IMO, Blake very average despite what he does to the structure, Gwilt and Raph deserve there spots in this team, so far they have achieved nothing, they may well but until then..

I dont think he deserves a spot in this team, he played poorly in his last season but thats it.

His career takes him close to the likes of Burke,Winmar etc. Saying he is one of the worst players of the last decade is an insult to the club.

There are plenty of players of the last decade that played under 25 games then were delisted you could have in half these guys spots

If you are going to do these type of stupid exercises it is not fair to rate the players on their last seasons.

Gee Gehrig was bad in 2008 lets include him, and Maguire.
I rated Peckett above the likes of Voss and Thompson in their twilight years. And obviously the selecters disagree about Blake ( as do I).

Raph Clarke and Capuano definitely deserve their spots in there. McQualter in for Peckett. Was Fergus Watts a regular? I thought he only played a couple. Good to see Hackland in there.

Just judging them on what they've done, not what they might do in the future. McQualter's career is just about over at any rate. He's our third best tagger behind Baker and Attard. I'm not convinced that Birss shouldn't get a look in for this side either.
