Think it depends what type of Foxtel Connection you have. Cable piggybacks and decodes all the FTA channels because it can, Satellite doesn't

Sorry mate i watch it on a lap top. I think the AFL on Foxtel Go only works on ph or tablet.
They block in on PC or lap top for some bizzare reason.

Stupid broadasting rights. As Telstra/AFL app have the rights to phone and mobile I guess they're happy to allow Foxtel Go to do phone and mobile. However it's impossible to watch the game on your laptop legally if you live in Australia AFAIK.

Completely idiotic but that's what we're locked into for years to come!

Does anyone thing the minister in charge even knows how to plug something into the usb port?

They pay shitload of money to IBM to do it, they (IBM) cut costs by using privately operated cloud based processing instead of having a shed load of gear that only gets utilized during peak times, leaving them open to online vandalism.

Special credit to the media for running with the headline "census site hacked " and leaving people with fear that their top secret data ( like age , address and number of kids ) would be stolen, when there is no evidence at all that it has been hacked. They don't actually know what hacking means.

( mind you if you were a good hacker , no-one would know you had done it ).

The government and computer systems don't go together well. If you use a mac you can't log in to any service provided by a government body. They used to have a message saying they were working on a compatibility issue, now they don't bother. Government websites all look like they were developed in the early 90s it's no wonder no one trusts them.
