Ok, there have been some bad haircuts in my day.
From the mullet to the half man bun, half shave seen on Cam McCarthy.
But surely, surely the worst is the shaved head on the balding 30 something.
Like this guy doing the interviews at Stawell.
Made fundamentally worse by the sight of razor cuts on the back of his scone.

At the moment there are 6 teams (Port Adelaide, Melbourne, Gold Coast, St Kilda, Essendon and Fremantle) vying for 7th and 8th spot on the ladder.
It's a no brainer that we have to beat every one of those 5 teams and the bottom six (Collingwood, Calton, Brisbane, Sydney, Nth Melbourne and Hawthorn) to have a chance of making the finals at the moment.

Without going into too much depth of my personal life - I own quite a few pubs around Melb. I was thinking of hosting a Saints big footy party mid year. Just trying to gauge how many would be interested in going and if it's worthwhile..

In other news - I'm also considering making one of my pubs close enough to Etihad the unofficial before and after watering hole. Has worked quite well with some of my other pubs, but more for interstate teams.

What pub do most people go to go after the game? Any favorites??
Bringing back the moorabbin disco?

Thats not true.
For example i think its very possible to beat Geelong.
So if we beat some top teams that means we can still lose against some bottom teams.
Not saying i want to.

Given that we have lost to Melbourne we need to make that ground up with a win against one of the top 6 teams. So games like this one against Geelong are opportunities to square the ledger or create a break on the chasing paleton.

I see Richmond, Geelong, West Coast and Port as reasonably beatable.

Agree.

I think the quality of our defence will ensure that we are competitive in most games. We just have to be able to take our opportunities and kick a winning score.

We have changed bread
It doesn't fit in out new toaster by about 2cms in width
First world probs

Yeah you have to buy the toasters with the fat bready bit inside them ( good for English Muffins too ) or stick to skinny tip top boring bread.

What i really miss is toast with grilled cheese. The old chef range i used to have had the gas griller and you just popped them under.
When NASA tries to send people from Mars they will probably use my current oven to control the spaceship ( it does so much crap ) but i can't grill cheese on it.
It has a griller in the oven part , but when you roast something it sprays fat all over the griller element and then if i try to use it , the kitchen fills with smoke and wife goes crazy. Anyway I forget the secret code i need to use to make the thing work.

its fat enough....not long enough.. got to cut off the end of the bread.....this is some flash toaater too the Mrs wanted...

Same campaigner who sideswiped my car at my kids footy this morning and drove off, seriously wide bays that would have been hard to touch another car reversing with all the doors open.
