Piers Morgan has written a scathing article on America's gun laws.....the statistics in relation to the rest of the world are hideous...

...but as he says, nothing will be done.

Then reading the comments under the article by other people from around the world condemning the laws, the only people arguing for them are Americans....

....they are so brainwashed and screwed up, but they just don't realise it.

I love my collection of Storm Premiers posters. But it's gonna be a f*****g awesome day when I finally get to buy a new St.Kilda one.

St Kilda really need to get a deep pocket sponsor , having a good sponsor encourages players to stay and encourage players to come to us.
A sponsor like Ford - Cats , Jeep - Tigers , Holdern - Magpies , why can't we get a Qantas , Toyota , BHP , Telstra , Westfarmers ,NAB , ANZ , CBA , AMP , QBE , Red Bull.
Need a guru in marketing to entice a major player.
With a good young squad , surely we can score something big here.

I wonder how the thousands of Toyota employee's felt watching Dave Buttner presenting trophies at the Grand Final the week before they have no job. Given the privilege by the huge amount of money Toyota spent.

worked with a lot of yanks , they collect them pass them on too there kids , one guy collected Browning shot guns and has over 30 and another guy collected old rifles and had over 100 , all from ww2 - japanese brought back from the war etc , M1s

Back from Las Vegas. Talking to the locals was like intruding on a funeral. All were touched in some way personally. But a couple said that guns can't be stopped as only the bad guys will end up with them. They just don't get it do they?

And in a bar one evening, I looked up at the televisions above the bar, all showing sport, and suddenly a commercial came on for a gun shop. I'm not an expert, but many of the guns seemed to be automatic weapons. This two days after the shootings. Unbelievable.

Nice time otherwise. Quite a place. Never been there before.

It's not that they have guns that is the issue, it's the type that they have access to. No one is querying a simple handgun, they are largely querying why an everyday individual needs and Ak47 or M16 which are designed to simply wound or kill as many people in the shortest time possible.

I mean, I grew up on farm, used a twin gauge, used a rifle purely for hunting rabbits, ducks, foxes and other "vermin" to livelihoods or things which you can shoot and eat, just as I've used an axe and made a chickens day very nasty. Why the shit does joe blow in suburbia need guns to feel safe? That's what cops are for, that is what law is for, that is what locks are for, you don't need a gun to feel safe, you simply need your wits about you.
