"Every time I'm in da kitchen, you in da kitchen.... In the god damn refrigerator, eating up all the food.... All the chicken, all the pig feet, all the collared greens, all the hog maws.... I wanna eat some of them chitlin, I love pig feet"

Kills me every single time

Port. Never forget that Adelaide only exists because of Port. In 1990, Port applied to be part of the AFL, forcing the other clubs to come together and form the Adelaide Crows in an emergency situation to keep Port out. Port are ballsy, they're the people's club. Sure, they're feral but they're real. I love em.
I always thought that made Adelaide the "people's club" as they are the consolidated representative of everyone in the SANFL except Port. Hence why they get a free pass from almost the entire state.
Port being the rebel outcast, who were most forward-thinking but were then ostracised for it.

I'm the same re Port and Adelaide, just wondered what non SA team supporters living in SA thought.
Couldn't give a stuff, how you can like Port Adelaide after 2004 has got me buggered, and Adelaide, well no one likes them.
Both shit clubs IMO, because they aren't St Kilda!

Don't particularly like Port, I just prefer them to the Crows. I was still fairly young at the time of 2004 PF against Port as well, so maybe I don't have quite as much of a reason to dislike them.

I remember watching that game with my old man, boy that one hurt!
Gavin ******* Wanganeen with that goal:mad: If I remember correctly I think the ball was in our forward 50 when the siren went. I think it was Harveys 300th game aswell.

Bob Keddie!

We were twenty points up at three quarter time in a low scoring game in '71and were cruising to victory before Keddie bobbed up and kicked four in the last quarter. He had never played a quarter of footy like that before, and he never did again.

Hawthorn has averaged one premiership every four and a bit years since that disastrous last quarter and we have won nothing. Keddie has hurt us more than anyone.

Hi everyone,
I am undertaking a PhD and am on the search for some data, specifically player positions. Most of this info is easily accessible however, finding player positions for players drafted in the early-mid nineties and who either didn't play a senior game or didn't play many has proven quite difficult!
I am using quite broad positional categories (mid, fwd or def) and while many players are moved around various positions I am looking for the position where they spent the majority of time. Please see below a list of St Kilda past players who I need positions for. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you
Courtney

Soooooo Australia will likely play Pakistan in the quarter finals...that's basically the prelim right? I can't keep track. Win that and we're in the final correct?

Win the quarter final, and that takes us into the Semi. We would have to win 3 games after the pool games are over to win the WC.

Anyone been following the Belle Gibson (& her probable fake cancer claims) saga?

As someone who knows of a guy (through my cousin-in-law) that has actually been diagnosed with a stage 4 brain tumour (at 30 yrs of age :( ) & how sick he really is, this Belle Gibson girl is a disgrace to humanity. Faking terminal illness to gain sympathy & grow a business & make money is one of the lowest things I've ever seen or heard of!

Cant wait to see how this bitch tries to justify her actions or tries to twist her story to make out that her story still has some truth to it...
