Interesting statistic:

"West Coast is winning the free kick count 9-3. It has lost the free kick count in just nine of its past 74 games here at Domain Stadium."
There was really good footage of Luke Shuey using his leading arm technique to draw a free kick. They need to send that bit of footage to the umpires.

RIP Richie

Met him once, an absolute gentleman. Grew up listening to him, cricket just won't be the same without him.
When I was watching the cricket and he was commentating I had the sound on. When he was off the sound was on mute so I didn't to listen to the other muppets.

When I heard about his passing I was driving to work about 7am and I started to tear up. I was surprised at my reaction as I don't know him personally but it dawned on me what a privilege it was to have had Richie as an Australian icon. Vale Richie BEnaud.

I always disliked Tony Greigs commentary . But when the big bloke passed away i didnt realise how much i had got used to him being part of my summers growing up. I missed him.

One positive of Netflix: Daredevil. Show is crazy.
Amazeballs. Consumed it all within 72 hours. Can't wait for AKA Jessica Jones, given how good D'onofrio was as Fisk, think Tennant will be an equally good purple man, and it will be interesting to see how Ritter goes as the headline character, having only seen her in supporting roles so far.

So is that the show that's coming next? Followed by Iron Fist, Luke Cage then a team up show? Have I got that right?

Yep. Not sure which order Cage and Fist will be, but that's the 4. Defenders is the name of the team up show, nothing like the comics equivalent.

AFL did a little mock up of Armo from 2010 for the Team of the Week link, you tell me that jumper wouldn't look ten times better than what we have now:

No, always disliked that era's guernseys. The white with black lines though did look great.
What's not to like that jumper is far more balanced than the one we have at the moment. And it seems far more Red White and Black rather than a bit of white with mostly Red and Black. You don't want to be associated with the wrong groups eh?

The Fast and Furious movies are amazing. They know their audience perfectly and dont shy away from the "so stupid its great" stunts.

They are the biggest budget "B movies" in history.

The ending of 7 is also one of the most well done scenes in cinema history.

Unashamed F&F fan, right here. Awesome lowbrow entertainment.

I hate other teams!
I'm over movies that are fantasy fluff BS basically. When I watch a movie these days, i want to be challenged to watch it, I want to feel like i shouldnt be watching it because some of the content is a bit out there.

The best movie ive ever seen is Pan's Labyrinth. Closely followed by Irreversible.

Sure, i do like watching movies for pure entertainment value, like the F&F franchise & The Avengers etc, but gimme a movie with real hard raw thought provoking substance anyday.

Highly recommend:

The Orphanage
Antichrist (not for the faint hearted)
Oldboy (the original Korean one)
I Saw The Devil

Seriously, if you like a bit of a violent revenge thriller/drama, you'd be hard pressed beating I Saw The Devil

All will stay with you for a while & maybe even make you feel a little uncomfortable, but that what a good movie should do IMO.
