Nice one... ^_^busted...
but who was that old (well, a year older than Robert Harvey, I guess that's old), slightly overweight (those pies and beers won't help) and noisy (offered to guide a few Collingwood supporters to the exit - I should say that he is 197cm and 110kg... - also suggested to a few St Kilda "supporters" to support their team rather than constantly insulting Raph (me ?), Fiora (who did not even play), Blake, L Fisher and Milne - some of them started before the first bounce) bloke sitting at an angle behind the goals of the third level of TD ?
On other business, mods, is there any way you could set it up so BigFooty automatically moves NH's posts to here... I'm just thinking to save you time.

What does St Kilda have to do to play for a premiership:
1.) convince Robert Harvey to sign a new five year contract (minimum)
2.) sack Ross Lyon
3.) find a new coach - hell, NexusHelen will probably be better than Lyon (edit: okay that's obviously over the top, but you know what I mean ?)
4.) sack the entire team except Harvey, Hayes, Ball
5.) pray
I may delete this post a bit later, but I'm a bit fired up at the moment.
Essendon improved in the second half last night after Knights spray... Ross Lyon, it is your job to motivate the team !!!

Would have been a big game for him, playing at the gabba where he used to work. Alot of locals who know him and some Mackay people would have been there to watch him as well. Big dissapointment all round. If i went for the saints I would be waiting for the day ross lyon got the ass. What a dud coach.

I'm not quite sure who placed this post in the Junk post but whoever it was owes me an apollogy. I am posting it again because after this weeks results nobody can dispute what I am saying!!!
Kildonan, I applaude your analysis, I really do, but footy is not logical. St kilda have no chance of making the top 8. Currently we are 9th, by the end of the season I can see Richmond and Carlton both overtaking us. Predicted finish 11th...unfortunately.
The sacking of Grant Thomas changed the course of our club. As I've said before, it is the intangibles that makes a great side. When GT was sacked that ended our chances of winning the premiership.

As a youngster at some point in the late 90s (we were sponsored by Pura Milk at the time) I went to a post match function to meet the Saints players. After immediatley seeking out Sir Robert I demanded Dad lead me to my next favourite player, Nathan Burke. After 10 minutes Dad finally got me too him and goes 'Here you are son, this is Nathan Burke' Burkey goes 'Good to meet you mate' and offers me a handshake, but I just stand their with a look of dissappointment on my face. My Dad asks me what was wrong and I reply pointing straight at Burke 'That's not Nathan Burke, Nathan Burke wears a funny helmet!'. Luckily Nathan found it pretty funny and gave me some free milk and an autograph, even though I was still skeptical as to whether it was the real Nathan Burke or an imposter.
That was also the first time I met one of my favourite players at the time, Spida Everitt, and from that day on he became the only Saints player I didn't like (since then there's only been two more, Stevie Lawrence and Cain Ackland)

Just found an old copy of "AFL Premiership Edition, 2004". Some lovely players in that one. It's great to relive the glory days. I'm tempted to start a full season on the thing and try to take us to the GF each weekend - it beats watching the abysmal display I get this year.
Gotta love that game. I once traded Chris Judd for Barry Brooks and pick 80 or something
But seriously, as bad as we are playing is it really worse than playing that game? The graphics, the gameplay... it has got to be one of the worst sports games ever produced.

Here's one about my sister - OI! Ease up lads!
Dad took my brother, sister & I to one of those footy clinics when we were kids where players from all different teams turned up. At the end of it we were getting signatures from a few players & Silvio Foschini was our next target. He started signing stuff for my brother & I - he then turned to my then C*wood supporting sister (don't worry, she's since changed allegiances) he picked her up high & kissed on the cheek - to which she started screaming & bust into tears, because he was a St Kilda player - much to Silvio's horror!
Anyway sis was hosting a function recently & Foschini was in attendance. She retold the story to a work friend who then went straight up & repeated it to Foschini who thought it was pretty funny & I believe my sis was left slightly embarrassed.

well to boost post counts you could try not merging threads.. thats a start..
I try and make a habit of not reading large threads that have started a fair way before I have had the chance to read the first post.. I'm sure that I'm not alone here... imo it is the thread count in the main st kilda forum that needs boosting.. ppl get put off if there are no new threads or the dated threads become more than a day old.. oh you could get rid of stickied threads that start to get old too... just a few ideas..
if you really want to boost post counts though, all you have to do is encourage sensationalist comments and slander the opposition constantly..

Was feeling a bit off yesterday so had the day off, and played that game for most of the day - WOW it stinks!!! Either I played at the "Easy" level and won against everybody, including an All-Australian team, by 100 points, or put it on "Normal" level and lost against everybody by about 50. The camera-angle changes with every bit of the play, so they guy you're playing as suddenly has to be pointed right instead of left. When you're selecting players, it goes through pretty much every player except the one nearest the ball when you're clicking "s" over and over...Gotta love that game. Pointless. I lost a whole season, with a percentage of 38. I thought about changing my username to "Ross Lyon".
